I've been here many, many times, and the food is OK. But I wen for lunch this week and I'll never go back.
There are signs out front with a BIG picture of crab legs, advertising unlimited an unlimited crab boil for $29.99 at lunch and $45.99 at dinner. So I went in, and the owner proceeded to tell me that the $29.99 lunch does NOT include the crab boil but unlimited anything else on the menu, but that he would "let" me pay the dinner price of $45.99 and do the crab boil.
I said that the GIANT sing out front (googleable if you're curious) Only showed crab, not chicken, and that it was a total bait and switch! He said that the sign was "from corporate". So he had NO PROBLEM with people seeing the sign, and then coming in SPECIFICALLY for crab legs and then adding 50% to the price.
Then he went on to tell me that I could do the lunch one without crab for $29.99, but NOTHING on the menu warrants that price!
I asked for the regular menu and he begrudgingly gave me that. I ordered 5 drumsticks for $11.95. How much chicken can a person possibly order to make it worth $30?!?!?!
It left a REALLY bad taste in my mouth! 2 other parties of 2 came in and had the same issue, but because they seemed like date situations, the guys didn't want to seem cheap and just paid the $46!!!!
I wonder how many people a day get TRICKED into that!!
Never again will I eat there! The owner is...
Read moreI was quite traumatized to order via Delivery after a horrendous experience with Drunken Chicken nearby (NEVER EVER get Korean Fried Chicken from them, it's the WORST ever and I'm Korean so I know what's good and what's not good!) I ordered delivery from this Mad for Chicken and boy they did quite the justice. Not only were the quantity/portion was scrumptious but was well seasoned in providing scrumptious and well seasoned KFC At first I was hesitant because usually it's not in a Koreatown or where most NYC Koreans live (Flushing/Bayside/Douglaston/Whitestone, Fresh Meadows) and this means that it could be a franchise or run by a non-Korean. I was also worried because I used a coupon via Uber Eats and many times, businesses hate it and will either give you smaller portions or end up being really poor quality. Despite my worries, they really delivered well. I just wish the chicken was a bit more crunchy/crispy. From now on, this will be my spot to order KFC when I don't feel like cooking or craving some good old Korean...

They used to give popcorn for free unlimited. Now they charge popcorn for $3. their price is getting higher and higher but the size of chicken gets smaller and smaller. Now their chicken wing size is smaller than my thumb. Radish portion which comes with fried chicken too little. When compare to other location, it is less than quarter of radish portion from other location
Below is original rate/review i made ————-
Food is good. I had kimchi fried rice with cheese added for $2. And small size wings. They served complimentary popcorn while waiting for food. Overall food is good. Service good. Atmosphere same as other location. But the price is higher. ie) last time i had kimchi fried rice order from other location, cheese comes with it for $15. But this time kimchi fried rice itself is $16 and I had to add cheese for additional $2. Small wings I had from other locations for $14.95. But this location it was $15.95. Except price higher than other...
