The second my family and I got near the entrance of the restaurant, the maybe owner as well as the manager told us we were not allowed to bring our child and stroller inside because it would bother other people.
There was no one eating inside and the tone they used was so rude that we almost did not sit down. We ended up staying regrettable as they finally allowed us to sit down outside not inside. I then asked for the heater to be turned on being that we had our child with us. The manager looked at me cross and called me Ma’am as if he was scared I was going to break the heater because I pointed in the direction of it.
As we were taking our time to get settled and order, 3 different people came over to ask us if we were ready to order this was in a 15 min window. The manager and owner throughout the entirety of our dinner scolded at us from the entrance. They continued to rush us to order when there was only one other table of people in the entire place inside and out. They told us their policy was that we could only stay for an hour and thirty minutes at this point we already order our wine I wish we left because it gets worst.
The food was not bad but the chicken was very very thin and the filet mignon was sliced in half maybe one inch thick and 3 oz at best. The pasta was the side but the best part. Not to mention they only gave us 2 pieces of bread at a time and we had to ask 5 separate times for more bread and when we asked why they said we serve it hot but all the bread was cold.
At the end of our meal the manger started to walk over again to helicopter over us to only turn around half way as he noticeably shook his head in disbelieve ? I don’t think I have ever been so disrespected while eating in a restaurant in my life
During covid we have been tipping 100% but could not do this with this type of treatment.
Moving forward we will be going to Trattoria Ora instead where the food is mouth watering no matter what you get. The portions, service and prices are out of this world !
In this climates you do not treat people like this even more so a biracial...
Read moreThis restaurant is anti-women, run by misogynists! One night I went to try this self-proclaimed wine bar and planned on having a nice glass of Italian wine and perhaps an appetizer. By looking in the window I could see a few sat tables and an empty bar with a gentleman sitting there not eating or drinking (assumed he was the manager). As I walked in the door I was immediately stopped by a waiter—he would not let me pass. I smiled and said I wanted to have a glass of wine at the bar. He said, "We're only serving dinner tonight." I felt very-deer-in-the-headlights so said nothing and then he said, "If you want to have a glass of wine and an appetizer or an entrée maybe..." He was saying many things with this assertion, the first of which was that I wasn’t allowed inside unless I promised to buy food. What?? I was so stunned I left—then over time noticed the other reason he wouldn’t let me in after walking past the place on my commute for many years: the only people I’ve ever seen sitting at the bar are men, and only one time I saw two super-model type ladies at the bar. I guess I wasn’t good looking enough or male enough to be let inside to enjoy my wine, which any decent restaurant knows is an entry point experience and if you like it you come back for more. Not this place. It’s the first wine bar I’ve ever known that wouldn’t allow me—a professional woman from the neighborhood—to order a glass of wine. And this didn’t only happen to me: I wrote about this experience on Yelp and a woman responded saying “I had a very similar experience!” So that’s what this place is, a dark ages anti-women establishment....

The service was attentive without being overbearing—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about
Every dish we tried was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented:
Branzino: Light, flaky, and cooked to perfection, the branzino was delicately seasoned to let the freshness of the fish shine. The skin was crisped just right, and the accompanying vegetables added a bright, complementary touch. Short Rib Risotto: This was the standout dish of the night. Rich, creamy risotto paired with melt-in-your-mouth short rib—it was deeply comforting and luxurious without being heavy. The balance of flavors was spot-on, making it something I’d come back for again and again. Tiramisu: A classic done right. It was airy yet satisfying, with a perfect espresso kick and just enough sweetness to end the meal on a high note.
