I visited Madras Dosa Co on 3rd Ave for their grand opening yesterday (between 50th and 51st), and it completely exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with big smiles and genuine warmth — you can tell they really care about their customers. The place was spotless and modern, with plenty of seating and a welcoming vibe. The service was impressively fast, and every dish looked and tasted amazing — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. You can tell they’re using high-quality ingredients and putting real love into the food. The dosas were crispy and delicious, and the chutneys and sambar were full of flavor. It’s also in a great, easy-to-find location, perfect for lunch, dinner, or a quick bite with friends. Overall, such a great addition to the neighborhood! I’m already planning my next visit and can’t wait to try more from their menu. Highly...
Read moreI had to review this place and It’s all because of Jai, Fatima and Sebastian. What a team.. kudos to them !!! Always on their toes and working round the clock to provide diners with a fabulous experience.

Fatima is the backbone of 3rd avenue. She can make great sandwich like Jai and is fantastic with chaats. I am writing this review while enjoying papdi chaat she made. 9 dinners in a row and this girl has never disappointed.
In the end, all I can say “Keep up the...
Read moreMadras Dosa Co. is a new South Indian spot in Midtown East that’s a must try. The aloo samosa was the first thing we tried which set the bar high. It was topped with chaat masala which tied it all together. The chicken dosa was filling and tasty, the ginger chutney that came with it was a standout. The sambar was also delicious, it was slightly sweet which made it unique.
The service was also incredible, which made me enjoy the food even more. The owners were chatting with us and told us the story of how they started, and were extremely friendly and gracious and gave us complementary gulab jamoon and mango lassi (yummy!). Will...
