Need a quiet place to relax? Then you should visit here! I went here around 2 pm on Thursday. Midtown on 3rd Ave is already quiet, but inside the Amster Yard is quieter. The only noise I heard was the AC or the fans attached to the buildings surrounding this secret garden. I stayed here for about 30 minutes, and five business people came here to discuss some business matters, so I left. I guess it is not a secret garden to office workers in the Turtle Bay Area. The perfect place to go on a very emotional day when it's raining just enough that no one else wants to spend large portions of time outside. It's almost impossible to find the entrance in one try but once you circle back a few times and go down the long, unexpected hallway, you'll arrive in what feels very much like private property: a place that is quiet, secluded, and beautiful. I have not been here in 2 months because it is 2 train rides from where i live but I think about it every...

I went after 5pm on a Friday and there were only two people there, one of whom was a maintenance worker. Someone mentioned on here that it closes at sundown, so that’s something to keep in mind if you...
