Mario's Pizza & Italian Homemade Cuisine - on W Fordham Road — Restaurant in New York

Avoid Mario's pizza at all costs! Unacceptable Service and Dangerous Food! Absolutely appalled by my recent experience. We ordered via the Slice app, and when my young daughter bit into a slice, there were EGGSHELLS in the cheese! This is a serious health violation, choking hazard and completely unacceptable, especially for a place that presumably serves a lot of families.

When I contacted Mario's to inform them of the issue, they were incredibly rude and dismissive. They refused to take any responsibility for the eggshells and offered no apology. This lack of concern for their customers' safety is astounding. They claim that the pizza is made in a place away from eggs but they serve dished that contain eggs so that is clearly inaccurate.

Not only was the food dangerous, but the customer service was abhorrent. I would strongly advise anyone considering Mario's to look elsewhere. There are plenty of other pizza places in the area that prioritize both food quality and customer service.

I always walked or drove passed this pizza shop because of the people who tend to linger outside. One day I ordered from the MARIO PIZZA SHOP on Westchester Ave through door dash. I was surprised by the food and the flavors. I didn't know there was a closer one located on Fordham Rd until I order the unlimited seafood pasta dish. Excuse me for not remembering the gentleman's name but he was tall mid age Caucasian man. His customer service was amazing over the phone and in person. He ensure I would love the food and asked for my review afterwards. I explained it was my dad's birthday and he loves seafood and pasta and he recommended the dish. I placed the order went to pick it up and left with pizza and their own soda brand. Yesterday I ended up returning to give him my review face to face and letting him know he has locked in a customer as long as the food taste a fresh an great as it did prior. He again ensured me it would. I highly recommend...

Everyone who works in his restaurant is entirely incompetent. First, the lady (and I use that term very generously) who answered the phone told me they wouldn’t deliver to me even though they have a dozen times before. As soon as I asked to speak with the manager they delivered no problem. When I finally received my saggy gross food, which was SUPPOSED to be well done, my delivery driver suggested I use a different pizza place next time…Perhaps he’s the only person with a brain in this restaurant. When I called to speak to them again about the horrible experience, the manger acted completely clueless. Normally, the food is good but the service is ALWAYS trash. I guess maybe next time I will find another pizza place. DONT WASTE YOUR...
