“He don’t speak english” Is what I was told by one rude employee, referring to the manager whose attention I was trying to get to lodge a complaint about the locked restrooms and refusal of the other employees to give me the key. Even as one of the employees emerge from the washroom with the keys. This is not my first experience with the very issue at this McDonald’s. Unfortunately my experiences stay with me while in their eyes I’m just another customer. It took me three or four repeated events of this exact nature for me to be frustrated enough to write this review. I guess this Restaurant in an attempt to give back to the community hires local. Unfortunately the training goes out the window when it comes to customer service. The workers are slow, they talk constantly when their focus should be on service, they are uncouth and ready to team up and verbally abuse any customer who request quality of service. I live in this area and to tell the truth I cannot in good faith recommend this restaurant for any reason. I recommend every staff member be replaced, the managers seem not to have earned the respect of the regular staff. I can tell by what is said and intonation used in their conversations. in fact the male supervisor on site, went along with the “he don’t speak english” ploy and completely ignored me. The female supervisor who walked in later then asked me why I want to use the bathroom, all this and I still haven’t received my order yet. This experience I’m sure is not unique to me, each customer that is treated this way will most likely not return or recommend. I appeal to the general management of this restaurant to take control of your business while you can because reviews are a powerful tool in the business world. On mentioning that I will write a review, I was told “who cares”as they urged me to do so sarcastically. Don’t let under trained personnel destroy your business they are way too many people out there In this community professional enough to do their work and do it diligently and...
Read moreEdit: yep, confirmed, the free wifi sucks here, it'll never connect! Edit 3/18: with no explanation, they have now suddenly removed any electric charge ability going into all their wall outlets that attracted few folks to make continued purchases while dining here as well as charging their devices at the same time. No one has really abused such privileges at this location at all which seems quite odd to pull the plug on it and the cost of charging small devices is a mere fractions of a fractions of a penny to have access to this privilege that more than covers it spending anything above a dollar.
Sigh, they really had a good thing going for a small while but it is what it is, I'm sure they had good reason that's not visible to the public.
I was going to rate it two stars for that but there are still plenty of more positives than there are negatives:
It's renovated, clean and sanitized and the business has plenty of seatings and foot traffic is light here. It doesn't seem to get too crowded or rowdy. Workers here are pleasant and attentive and location is convenient with good parking spots.
The bad: it may have been that one day or two but the free WiFi access there were absolutely horrendous!! It barely connected with any devices and if you somehow got lucky, the connection would still stall out constantly or disconnect. So much for free WiFi.
They have also completely removed any electric power to all the wall outlets here without any explanation which attracted me to study and spend my money in this location in the first place so that's no longer an incentive. It was good while it lasted. In any event, I'm glad they have hired staff here, seems they are all from the surrounding neighborhood and effectively the business is helping out...

Ok, with that said...this McDonald's is one of my go to places I go when in that particular area, to get food, their milkshake is one of my favorites. Located between Fulton st and Pennsylvania Ave this location features it's very own drive thru, yep for those that travel by car, motorcycle, scooter or etc. You can conveniently order your food and then take off in or on your ride. The service there is really good, recently I took part of a survey and was rewarded with said milkshake, again one of my favorites. So if you happen to pull up with family or friends, you'll enjoy the space, you might even want to eat there, depending on your schedule. Alright,my good people, remember it's still summer so drink your liquids water, juice,a little soda, etc and stay in the shade when possible...talk with all of...
