I'm local. The one claiming to be a local guide here (Kirkland) posted from two weeks ago has old information regarding the renovation time period. There used to be TWO McD's in East Harlem on Third Avenue -- one between 109 and 110 Street and the other on East 103. The one on East 109 closed -- it was terrible, so it wasn't a great loss. The other on East 103 St. (building number 1872) just got renovated about a year ago and had better service and seemed to be doing well. A sign went up almost a month ago taped to the front window saying there was some shut down with electrical and it has been closed like that ever since, zero explanation. Other businesses are operating fine on that block, including residential, lights are on, so I'm unsure WHY this McD's is now closed with no further comment. Were the employees relocated, are they even getting paid for the inconvenience of NOT having a job, we have no idea, except we have to go to East 96 and Second Avenue to get McDonald's now. No word on when and if it will reopen! (written as of July 24 2018, it has been closed for over...
Read moreTook my 3yr old Granddaughter & Daughter to eat since we were on the East side shopping. This is one of the worst McDonalds I have ever been to! I ordered a hamburger Happy Meal, Filet of fish Meal and the Cheeseburger Meal. Both of my Daughters cheeseburgers were spoiled! My filet of fish was on a bun that was harder than concrete! The sodas weren't good either! It tasted like the soda machine wasn't cleaned in a very long time! My Daughter had them make our burgers and fish again! Mind you, the manager and the whole staff just stand around running their mouths and don't even pay attention to their customers! One of the employees stood behind the partition and ran her mouth with security until she left work! I won't be going...
Read moreWorst Mcdonalds I’ve ever been to. Last time I waited 15 min for a small cup of coffee, and today they somehow forgot to give me a large cup. If I need to go up to the counter and wait in line to get the cup I ordered, why are there kiosks? My order number never appears on screen, the place is always crazy crowded, and their customer service is just terrible. No one answered to my question and just pointed at the air (never bothered to use their fingers even, it was just a slight JAW movement lol). Never even bothered to go over my order. There is also a cop standing next to the counter which is so weird. The only place I’ve been to where children and crazy homeless men coexist in a crowded place other than the...
