El Aguila

We have been getting Tamales there for years even before it was popular and before white people from the suburbs discovered it! NYC has a neighborhood in Queens called Corona. It is a Mexican neighborhood but they only have Mexican ladies in the street with little carts selling tamales. El Aguila has tacos but they are kind of dry. You can get authentic tacos in Corona but even since Nixtamale closed you cant find good Tamales. Nixtamale was really good but I like El Aquila better. Brooklyn also has a neighborhood called Sunset Park and they has sloppy food that is not as good as El Aquila IMO. There are also these Tequila bars all throughout Brooklyn that are not authentic and created to fool the transplants. In New Jersey you can get better Mexican food but as far as NYC is concerned El Aquila is the best!
