Although this is a negative review let me start off by saying I’ve been coming to this Thai spot since before they turned into a restaurant, when they were only take out. I’ve lived in this area my whole life. The food is honestly so good and everything about the place is beautiful. I recommend this place all the time! Tonight I went with my mom and siblings and didn’t have such a pleasant experience with our waitress. Don’t know her name but she has short brunette hair , I had never seen her here before so she must be fairly new.
I work in the hospitality industry myself so understand we all have things going on. But from the second we sat down she had these awful facial expressions. We ordered some food but my younger brother wasn’t ready, she proceeded to go make comments to the bartender in their language and without a doubt I know they were speaking about us negatively because one of them looked at us and made a noticeable facial expression towards us. Throughout our dinner, not only did she not offer any type of customer service besides doing her job. No checking up on us or asking how we were doing, besides the basic. The place was not busy at all. My point of saying this is that there was an automatic 20% gratuity added to our check, luckily I am a waitress and caught this under that section there was a comment that said automatic gratuity for groups of 5 or more. We were 4 people. I would’ve happily agreed to that 20% if there was service given but there wasn’t and she was just unpleasant. Her response to this was that the system does it automatically, with 8 years or restaurant experience I’ve never seen the system include automatic , we as servers add that to the check. So obviously I know that was a lie.
Every other time I have came here, the staff has been amazing and waitress from those times always gave exceptional service. I hope management takes this into consideration. Although I love this place, I am...
Read moreIn a neighborhood with no shortage of Thai restaurants—I've tried at least four of them—Chu Ros Thai stands out as something truly special. This place doesn’t just deliver great food; it creates an experience that feels like coming home, no matter who you are or where you're from.
The service here is nothing short of outstanding. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated with genuine warmth and hospitality. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome and well taken care of. It's clear that they take pride in not just the food they serve, but also in creating a space where everyone feels like they belong.
The atmosphere is incredible, with a vibe that’s both cozy and vibrant. It feels like you’ve stepped out of your house only to find yourself in a place that’s just as comfortable and inviting. The decor is charming, and the ambiance strikes a perfect balance between casual and elegant.
And then there’s the food—absolutely amazing. Chu Ros Thai doesn’t just serve Thai cuisine; they elevate it to a level that’s hard to match. Every dish is bursting with flavor, prepared with care, and presented beautifully. Whether you’re a fan of spicy curries, fresh salads, or perfectly cooked noodles, you’ll find something here that will keep you coming back for more.
What really sets Chu Ros Thai apart, though, is the way they embrace everyone who walks through their doors. This is a place where all lifestyles are accepted, where there’s no discrimination, and where everyone is treated like family. It’s a rare and wonderful thing to find a restaurant that not only feeds your body but also nourishes your soul.
Chu Ros Thai is in a league of its own, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and experience it for yourself. You’ll feel like you’ve found a...

We started with fried calamari as our appetizer. It was definitely very good, but I felt it could have used more seasonings and spices to bring out the calamari flavor. Some tamarind or cayenne pepper would have really brought out more dimension to the dish, but overall I had no other complaints. The cook was just right.
I was recovering from strained vocal cords and was craving soup. The ground pork Tom yum soup was the medicine that I needed to cure my throat. It was bright, savory, and had the right amount of acid and spice. The crunchy wonton chips added a depth of flavor and texture to the dish, a detail that I really appreciated.
I also tried my friend’s fried chicken dish and it was edible. The chicken looked a little undercooked, and it was rather one dimensional. The sauce was definitely there to add some kick, but it could have been spicier. I was missing a lot of the flavor profiles that are traditional of Thai cuisine, so it would have been great to see it in this dish as well.
Overall, I had a great dining experience. My throat wasn’t feeling too good, and the servers graciously provided me with hot water and lemon to drink instead of cold water. The aesthetic of the restaurant was also nice, and I really appreciated that it wasn’t blazing hot inside of the restaurant.
I’d definitely come back here again to try out more of their dishes. More importantly, I would come back just for their wonderful...
