McDonald's — Restaurant in New York

Never had a problem with this McDonalds always preferred here than any other, but after what I went through tonight not coming back. I got threatened by the manager that she was going call the cops after waiting a whole hour to get food. Just got out of work and i stopped by to get food on March 17 at 1 am going through the drive thru and I see that the car in front of me stopped and then a few seconds later keeps driving to the window. I drive up to the monitor and see that the drive thru screen has a closed sign on it written with pen barely able to see it only seeing closed. Theres no light either where you order at the monitor I sit 20 mins at the monitor no one says anything. I pass the monitor waiting for half an hour and most cars on line are already leaving because they are taking long. I finally get to the window and they tell me I have to go around again to order. I explain that their sign on the monitor says that its closed and no one said anything during those 20 mins waiting there. They tell me that they are closing at 2 and i still have to go around because they got orders. This is an open for 24 hours McDonalds. After waiting 30 mins already frustrated I told them I'm not going back around 30 mins more. The manager then tells me she is gonna call the cops. Come back around and wait another 30 mins. I read the sign having to squint and still not be able to read what it says besides closing at 2- 6 am sorry for the inconvenience. Waiting for food and this manager telling me that she can't even get me a discount either. I ask can I least have another item in my order for the wait. She asked what do you want? and I said a burger or frappe She said we close at 2 and we are not making anymore food. After being threatened and waiting a whole hour then having to pay for food that was cold and stale. Never coming back. If you are going to put a sign up at least use a permanent marker saying the monitor is not closed but the open 24 hr McDonalds is...

DO NOT ORDER THE NUGGETS, THEY WERE HORRIBLE 3/3 VISITS. if you are a mcnugs fan this is effectively a 0/5, for non-nugs 3/5 is fair. Needed to give a 1/5 because I'm strongly suspicious that they have "manufactured" tons of 5 star reviews and I've seen other reviews complain of the nugs.

Pros: clean and nice interior dining area. Burgers are fine, fries are hard to mess up and also fine albeit a little chewy.

Aside from that, worst nuggets I've had from a mcdonalds. Weird spongey consistency from too much fatty parts, weirdly chewy, possible overcooked and left to stay in the open air for an hour causing the outside to be chewy. And there's a weird chemical aftertaste. Idk if this is a new recipe or not or the mcdonalds Corp is trying to save money by using more cheap parts so I'll have to try other mcdonalds and maybe this issue is a company-wide issue and not just this particular franchise.

I only get mcdonalds once a month or so and so I forgot that I already had ordered nuggets from here twice and both times were horrible. Well just ordered a 20pc again because I forgot and now 3rd strike you're out.

20% of the nuggets I ate were disgusting and needed to be spit out, the rest I could swallow but were far from good and needed extra sauce. Throwing out the remaining 10 without touching. Sucks that the only mcdonalds near me I can't get one of the higher protein options.

I don't often leave reviews but I am forgetful and impulsive so I need to in this case to remind myself to NEVER get their nuggets again and form the memory of writing this long warning review. Another $8...

This has to be, without a doubt, the single worst service experience I've had in years. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. The attitude of the staff here is nothing short of appalling. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I was actively inconveniencing the employees by daring to be a customer. Every interaction was met with eye-rolls and a complete lack of interest. There's a difference between a busy, stressed employee and someone who simply doesn't care about their job or the people they're meant to be serving, and the staff here falls squarely into the latter category. ​The level of laziness is truly astounding. Simple requests seemed to require Herculean effort on the part of the employees, who moved at a glacial pace and appeared determined to do the absolute bare minimum required to keep their jobs. If you're looking for a place where the staff will actually help you, keep looking. The service in other places around are infinitely better. I genuinely cannot stress this enough: go to the other place. ​The comparison is night and day. Where other locations are friendly, efficient, and professional, this establishment is the exact opposite—rude, slow, and completely disinterested. This isn't just a minor issue; the poor service and terrible attitude completely ruin the entire experience. ​If you value your time and prefer not to be treated like a nuisance, do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.
