Meat Supreme is like an old friend ...great fresh food and terrific informed and friendly staff with butchers always willing to help I;ve moved to Florida where Italian people have forgotten who they are and the few Italian vendors dont understand when you need a piece of pork or beef for Sunday gravy ,It;s like they are forgetting their heritage and the good food that any one of Italian descent would know The butchers at avenue U are willing to help explain to them down here what I;m looking for and I am forever grateful ! I wish they would come down here to Ft Lauderdale where the competition would be limited and would make many frustrated people very happy, they always sell fresh food and a wide seclection of traditional deli food that cant even be found here , Meat Supreme at Ave U is the place to go and to be appreciated for their years of courtesy and great food and service . An Italian deli and market that brings Italian cultural food and products to the diverse kings borough. I love that the store has the feel of Italy in its decor. Many traditional Italian brands plus a bit of other nations brands and products. My favorite part of the store was the cold cuts and deli counter; There are experienced and knowledgeable deli peeps, who can tell you about the meats and the cheeses that are on display. Big props to Veto, who made a delicious sandwich for me. The best part was that I asked him to surprise me with the sandwich, just make it spicy and as italian as possible. That sandwich made my night, I worked all day and didn't eat until I got that giant sub, which was fantastic. We catered our Thanksgiving dinner from Meat Supreme this year. The Turkey, Virgina ham and all the side dishes as well as the pies were delcious. Well written instructions on reheating the food was on point. Everyone raved about how delcious the food was, we have enough for leftovers. The best part of our meal was the Turkey and stuffing with cornbread and Italian sausages there was none leftover.

We certainly will be ordering our next holiday meal in the future. For the price we paid it was well worth it.
