I picked this place for my 50th birthday. I sent in a picture of the area where I wanted to be seated . 8 seater $650 plus tax. I asked in a email can I please have this spot and i was told I could. When I got there there on 4/20/24 at 10:30 pm I was told that the seating area was reserved for someone else and I tried to explain to the lady that I was told that spot would be mines. Smdh. Then proceed to give me 1 couch that only seats 3 people and I was like that's not what i ask for so she then push another 3 seater couch next to the other. Smdh now I'm mad I just wanted my money back . So she then began by giving me a nip of Moscato and told me to drink it and calm down and she would return. I was so upset because the section that I wanted no 1 was there it was empty until around 12:30 am or so. I'm not understanding the birthday package ordeal. I made the best of the night because it was my 50th birthday mind you I spent more money buying food. Had to go the bar to get it . The food came with no napkins or utensil or condiment. Then we brought rounds of hookah and my son inlaw brought bottles and had to stand up at a table. I was planning on buying more bottles for my guest but after me not getting the spot that I told I was gon get I kept my money. Smdh. I will never patronize this business again or recommend anyone to have their birthday celebration there and the dj was wack. Get the crowd hype just to switch the song. Smdh. Overall I enjoyed my birthday because my friend ls and family was there with me enjoying being outside. but i still was vexed about the situation. I just want to know if this is how you conduct business? Did the other party pay more after i was told i could have that section? I would have paid more money if that was the case which we did buy buying more bottles, food, hookah and buying drinks at the bar also I had a friend who has to travel with a medical helmet its made of cushion so if she falls she wont hit her head they made her pay to leave it at the coat check meanwhile all the men had on hats in the club she wasn't wearing in the club she had it in her hand. Smdh. I reached out to the establishment and have not heard anything from them as of yet😔 thats...
Read moreSo I'm using this forum to vent my frustration on what was supposed to be a walk down memory lane. I attended the I love the 90's event on July 30th 2016. I came prepared to dance the night away to some of my favorite 90's tunes, however, I was utterly disappointed. The usual entrance fee is 20 dollars, but because it was a special event we had to pay 30, that's okay since I was going to hear a selection of music from an era that is seldom played in the clubs. I got there at 2:30 am and waited for almost 1hour and 45min to hear an actual song from the 90's. I'm not sure if Massive B and has any idea what songs are actually 90's song, but he seemed to skirt around the whole decade. Finally at 3:45am he announced to my horror that "since it's a I love the 90's event I'm going to play 10 minutes of 90's music and then go on to the new stuff" I was floored..like I specifically came to mingles on this night to hear music that was supposed to be from the themed advertised...Not hear the DJ tell me he is going to play some selection and move on..like that was the reason I paid my money...He of course went on to play songs that I hear everytime I go to mingles...I think the owner need to look into this matter. How can you charge for and advertise a particular theme, then have the Dj not honor it..Needless to say, it's going to be awhile before I spend my money at...
Read moreAbsolutely love the environment. Love the vibes. Love the music the people attended to us were very good. The drinks were super strong great for price however, I really wanted the experience they provided on online as a hidden gem.. Beautiful plates, beautiful drinks and that unfortunately was not served. We had really small plastic cups. This was supposed to be a surprise birthday party for my girlfriend who thought this place looked amazing online and wanted to go.
No one told us that the menu changes to a late night menu until 10 pm which was they change over. Mind you they only then served appetizers . (and we waited all day for an elaborate dinner, because the food absolutely looked delicious online and we were STARVING ).
We were told many times that the kitchen was open all night however, no one told that the money would change, nor was written on any flyer or menu. Because this was supposed to be a birthday DINNER that took us for a loop.
While we make the best out of the time and had cakes served and enjoyed our night, you can tell that as the night went on, most of the staff was really catering more to the nightclub version of this establishment. I think it has so much more potential beyond being just a lounge because everything does look good but I unfortunately didn’t get to have that experience . Maybe next time. Please give better dinner...
