Moka & CO — Restaurant in New York

Ordered Lavender Matcha and no ice if possible. Payed 8.81 after 10% discount. Received a Regular Matcha latte with 50% ice. When confronted one of the worker only added lavender sweetener (artificial flavoring maybe?). Usually when I go into a cafe lavender matcha has a purplish tint. Manager came to ask whats the problem and looked at the worker and told him to just remake it. Worker did not remake it, instead he just took the matcha and removed the ice leaving the drink half empty and handed me the cup without a cap... He then walked away to another section of the work area after saying "next time be clearer with your order"

I don't know what happened with the order but I know I clearly ordered like this: "may I please get a cold Lavender Matcha Latte. No ice if possible." and then I was asked for my name too.

Maybe I should have just taken the regular matcha latte filled with up to 50% with ice?

I payed more for the Lavender Matcha Latte too 😭.

Calm and bright cafe, with great (quick!) service and delicious drinks! What more can you ask for?

I got the Adeni chai today but I’ve tried a bunch of stuff on the menu. Everything was consistently hot (not lukewarm) and not too sweet:

The Mufawar and Maleki coffees are so good - rich, spicy and milky… ❤️

The Saba’ani was a surprise fav - I normally don’t like black coffee but this wasn’t too bitter at all- its just so warm and flavorful (cardamom is incredible!)

Baklava is always a nice treat, regardless of what drink you get, but when I had it with the saba’ani coffee I was extra pleased with the pairing.

But I still think Adeni chai was is...

So happy to find out they also have a location here! Really love their dessert collections.. everything so guilty, rich, and good.. Although slightly pricy, considering the space and services, it’s fair!

🧡✨🥛Chai latte was a classic, spices they create was beautiful.

Festival was the gluten-free pistachio roll with mixed berries and cream inside. The texture was like in between macaroon and pavlova, chewy but crunchy. It was a little bit too sweet for me, but definitely a good one for gluten-free ppl.
