Mura Sushi — Restaurant in New York

If i can give 0 stars, i would. First, let me start by mentioning I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for 10+ years and always provide empathy to owners and workers alike. HOWEVER, i don’t know how you can have your restaurant live on delivery platforms if you’re not going to deliver. Uber eats has a feature where you can pause or stop deliveries for the day if you’re too busy or if you’re closing early.

Anyway, it’s Valentine’s Day and my daughter really wanted sushi. She’s 4 and wanted California rolls + Gyoza so i ordered it around 9:30pm. An hour later, I’m wondering where the food is and called 5x with no response. Asked for an update on the uber eats platform, nothing. Google says the store closes at 11pm and they’re still active on uber. By the time we realized the food wasn’t here, the other restaurants are closed and not accepting orders so my daughter waited over an hour for NOTHING.

Poor management or service. Will never order from here again. Please don’t make my mistake either or call them to see if they’re actually open since they clearly don’t honor...

Tonight was the first time eating here. We absolutely loved it. We had the sashimi salad, what a treat! The salad had tuna, salmon, avocado, cucumber, orange, mango served with spicy Uzi sauce. The sauce fruits and fish all blended together very nicely and the presentation was gorgeous everything from the shape of the plate to wonderful colors.

The miso eggplant was very tasty and the volcano roll was just scrumptious with crab, smoked mozzarella, endive, avocado topped with spicy tuna crunch.

What I like most is the menu is very well thought out. It seems to me there is a lot of creative choices on the menu. So many options and each description of the various rolls has me wanting to come back to try all of them.

The staff was very kind and accommodating. The atmosphere is delightful. We sat outside in the backyard and it was very peaceful.

The prices are amazingly reasonable. Three of us ate full and delicious meals for just over $20 a person. Given we are in inflationary times this was wonderful!

I can't wait to go back many times. I want to try everything...

Love everything. I oder also everyday because I love all of the options and they are all delicious! Please please please pay attention to uber instructions. I order from here almost everyday. Chicken Katsu is nothing without Kewpie mayo 😞 Edit: PLEASE! I Just Want REGUALAR Kewpie Mayo!!! Not Spicy Mayo! Not BBQ Sauce! Just Plain White Kewpie Mayo!!! PLEASE! I waited 45 minutes and this is like the 6th time with the wrong sauce! Please I just want regular, normal kewpie mayonnaise PLEASE! Edit 2: I'm never eating chicken katsu again. Why do you keep sending me spicy mayo? I'm legit begging you for regular plain mayo. I give you. My favorite food is ruined. Too disappointed to leave 4 stars and I really don't want anything I ordered. It seems small, but this Mayo situation completely ruined...
