This is a hidden gem in the bronx like someone else said here. Old school pizza, big, generous and tasty. The price is crazy cheap! For instance, I am capable of eating 6 out of 8 "little italy" large pie slices, but at My Place Family Pizza, both small and large pies , I could do just 4! These are real heavy cheese and good saucy slices and the only pizza to compete with them in size is Koronet pizza. I ordered on the phone and picked up my order. On both times 15 min later my order was ready. The staff were corteous and punctual they do a good job. Do a favor to yourself and ignore those low reviews from people who complaint about delivery, who dont carry cash or do not get from their menu cinnamon bread, coconut bread, dessert cakes, etc, frankly speaking they might know papajhons for "pizza". Besides all comments, this is a food place not a hotel. This pizza took me 20 years in time to the old albanian, italian pizza places around el barrio, washington heigths, donwtown manhattan and for sure brooklyn. Dont miss a fresh pizza pie here! At My Place Family Pizza you wont regret it.

Everything was fine until delivery. Upon the delivery...(Read below) - The price stated over the phone was $13.00 dollars different from what was on the receipt. - Salad was $9.50 over the phone, but $6.50 on the receipt. Then he wavered on $9.50 and $6.50 then finally $6.50. Changing prices. He “misread the menu”. - Garlic knots were actually bread knots - see photos. They were all without garlic and no taste! In fact, they taste horribly - no one touched them. What a bait a switch! - Pizza was fine. Not missing out on anything. I have had much better for the same price.

Good size slice. Heavy coverage of cheese and sauce. Good flavor . Chewy seasoned crust with very good flavor. Somewhat undercooked considering the amount of cheese and sauce, making the slice a bit loose and wet. A good slice for $3. Rating it at 92.

FANTASTIC PIZZA. FANTASTIC PRICING (with size of slices in mind). PRETTY QUICK DELIVERY. One problem, there is this one delivery guy of an older age who is the worst person I have ever encountered. I have tried ordering multiple times but the same older delivery guy keeps on delivering to me. If I could order with out the fear of dealing with him I would so much more but THAT ONE OLDER MAN KEEPS ON GIVING ME HELL NOT KNOWING HOW TO DO BASIC MATH, BEING RUDE, AND NOT EVEN GIVING THE TIME OF DAY TO SIMPLY GO UP A FEW STEPS. Been eating from this place since 1997 and although I no longer live in The Bronx making a pilgrimage to this place is a MUST anytime I'm back in The Bronx. Let me tell you that after living in 3 different states there's no better pizza than this. I've had all the fancy pizza's that is made elsewhere but nothing beats a simple cheese pizza with garlic, herbs and crushed pepper from this place (or whatever rocks your boat). You never know what you have till it's no more, I miss this place so people enjoy your favorite pizza from this place while you have the chance, I wish I could just walk to this place and grab a slice of two like a used to.
