Castle Chicken and Loaded Platters — Restaurant in New York

Castle Chicken is truly a hidden gem! Every time I visit, I’m blown away by how fresh and flavorful the food is. The chicken is always perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the sides are just as good—especially the fries and sauces! You can taste the quality in every bite, and the prices are super reasonable for how much food you get.

What really sets Castle Chicken apart though is the service. The employees are always so kind, patient, and welcoming. They make you feel like a valued guest, not just another customer. Whether it’s your first time or your tenth, the staff treats you like family, and that kind of hospitality is rare these days.

The restaurant is also always clean and well-kept, and the food is prepared quickly without ever sacrificing taste or quality. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and it shows.

I saw a video about this restaurant on TikTok showing the Happy Platters for $2.99. Before making the trip, I called the store myself to confirm if that price was still valid. The person on the phone clearly told me yes, it was.

So, I drove 30 minutes out of my way just to find out when I got there that the price had changed and the platters were no longer $2.99. I explained to several employees that I called ahead and someone told me otherwise. Instead of owning up to it or offering any kind of explanation, they all just played dumb and acted like they had no idea what I was talking about.

To be clear, I wouldn’t have minded paying full price — if that’s what I had been told. My issue is that someone on their team lied over the phone, whether intentionally or carelessly, just to get people in the door. That’s misleading and disrespectful of people’s time, especially when they’re coming from far away.
