My husband and I went to dinner here on a whim. I am a first generation Lebanese-American so my standards for middle eastern food are exceedingly high. I give this place a 4 star because: - Wait staff was great - Nice aesthetics but the intricate wall paneling held a lot of dust and grime that they need to clean better - We ordered the tabouli and loubiyeh to start, and both had the kibee as the main course. Tabouli was a little on the salty side, loubiyeh was right on the money! Kibee was very dry, over cooked. But not too bad when you eat it with the leban (yogurt). - Just as we were leaving, water started leaking out of the light fixture in the booth behind us... not dripping, like pouring! All over that poor couples meals and laps 🤭 it would be one thing if this were the first time it leaked because I know it happens but then the waitress said, “it never leaks THIS much!” 🤦🏻‍♀️ why haven’t you fixed this yet? Gross and careless. Overall decent bite to eat, but not the best.

I was not too familiar with Lebanese food, but what a fabulous first experience. The restaurant itself is very well designed, the seats are comfortable and the atmosphere is romantic. We got a couple appetizers and an entree to share, which were all delicious and very interesting, flavor-wise. I especially recommend the kibbe naya (lamb tartar) and kibbe labniye. The jellab drink was also delicious and very refreshing. We were full by the end, but just had to try some of the interesting desserts they had. Milk pudding was excellent, as was the kanafe. Service was attentive but not overbearing. We are looking forward to the next time we will go back.

Surely you have been to the Naya casual spots around the city for a quick and delicious lunch? This is Naya's original & first restaurant still open in the city! We had the pleasure of eating here and experiencing some of the most deliciously fresh hummus, falafel, and so much more! We were so full on appetizers but couldn't pass up the main course! Staff was unbelievably kind, professional and helpful. The restaurant is very clean and everyone is wearing a mask. There is also hand sanitizer upon walking in. The food was wonderful, but our waitress lacked listening skills. I asked her if they serve hot tea. She said “Yes, we have mint tea or regular tea.” I responded with “regular tea is fine.” She nodded and headed off. When the tea came, she served the mint tea. I said “I thought I ordered regular tea?” She quickly apologized and took the mint tea back and came back with regular tea options. I also ordered the Kafta Sayniye and asked our waitress if the sauce is thick. She confirmed with yes. When the dish arrived, we ended up getting the Kibbe Sayniye. I said to the waitress “I thought the sauce in this dish was tomato-based.” She responded “I thought you asked for the one with the yogurt sauce.” I said, “No, I asked you if the dish came in a THICK sauce. NOT yogurt sauce.” I specifically pointed to the Kafta Sayniye dish on the menu as I ordered, so I don’t know why there was any confusion. I can see how both dishes sound alike, but I didn’t order each dish verbally. I pointed to the each dish name on the menu as I ordered. The waitress did not seem to accept responsibility, even though she asked me “What would you like to do?” I responded with “Well I wanted the other dish.” She then responded with “Well, I’m sorry, but you ordered the one with the yogurt sauce.” So basically she denied to switch the dishes for free, even though she was the one who ordered the wrong dish for me, since I never asked for the yogurt sauce dish and I certainly did not point to the yogurt sauce dish on the menu. We ended up ordering the original dish that we wanted, the Kafta Sayniye. She explained that it would take another 20 minutes to make and that they cannot take the Kibbe Sayniye back. I said “It’s okay. We will keep the dish.” So the waitress apologized and said that we would get free dessert, which was never offered to us when we finished eating. Our waitress did not even notice that we were finished eating because she never came back to our table after serving the last dish. It was hard to get the attention of a waiter/waitress, so I went towards the back to ask for the bill so we could leave since we had already been dining for nearly two hours since the service was slow (keep in mind that it was Sunday 3-5pm and there were only three other tables being served at the same time and there were about two busboys, one greeter, and two waitresses. I also noticed that our waitress stopped servicing my table and another waitress started serving our table after we were served the Kafta Sayniye dish. So, perhaps there was a miscommunication or there wasn’t any communication about the complimentary dessert due to the change in waitresses. In addition, there was a terrible leak in the ceiling, where water was pouring down from the ceilings, affecting three tables of seating. We were luckily two tables away, so we were not hit with water, but it was still discomforting to eat while watching the ceiling leak. The waitress did apologize for the leak, although it was not her fault. With all the mishaps that occurred during our time, we were not offered any sort of discount on the bill.

This was the second time that I dined here. The first time, I came here for dinner. I ordered the Kafta Sayniye (which was delicious and why I remembered that the dish had a thick tomato-based sauce, so I wanted to order it again.) The complimentary chips that came as an appetizer was very stale. The Mouloukhie (Saturday-Sunday Daily Special) was bland and the chicken was dry and tasteless. The service was decent, although again, it was hard to get the attention of a waiter/waitress because they were...

Came here for date night =P Made reservations online without any issues. I arrived early and I was seated immediately. The maitre d' was very courteous and friendly. The decor of the place was trendy and the seats weren't that spacious. As soon as I got seated, they brought out two glasses and filled it up with water. They gave us ample time to look over the menu and for mezze we ordered the Spicy Shrimp with garlic and spicy red sauce. Our entrees were Beef Kebab and Lamb Chops.

The bread that they gave us had olives on the style but they were extremely salty. They should have taken some of that salt and added it to their entrees.

Overall, the Spicy Shrimp was very disappointing. Shrimp were over cooked. The sauce was spicy but overly watery and vinegary. Otherwise, not very flavorful at all.

The Lamp Chops came with 3 chops, rice, and grilled vegetables. I ordered it medium rare and it came out as medium rare on all 3 chops. They were very consistent with their cooking. That was about the only good thing going for this place. The chops had grill marks on it but flavorless. The rice had more flavor than the meat. Nothing special about the vegetables.

The Beef Kebabs were flavorless as well. However, it did have slightly more flavor than the lamb chops. It was cooked perfectly, medium rare. It had the same rice and vegetables. We actually liked the rice. It was made well but the main protein was beyond help.

Now onto the service. They never came to our table once to ask how the food was. They never refilled out water. The only time they refilled our water was AFTER I had paid for the bill. It started out right but it got progressively worse as the dinner service went on. This place is way over priced for the quality of food and service you get. Perhaps they were just catering to the people who were buying alcohol and of a certain ethnicity. Regardless, they need to treat all their patrons equally.

Getting 3 stars for the food (mainly because of the rice) but because of the extremely poor service, they deserve a 2. There is no way that this place deserves a solid 4 stars on yelp.

I would not...
