I recently patronized Nene's Taqueria for takeout, opting for their renowned Birria Pizza accompanied by consommé and assorted sauce packets. While the pizza itself was commendable in taste and quality, I must express some dissatisfaction with the portion of sauce provided, which seemed disproportionately small given the substantial size of the pizza. This discrepancy detracted slightly from the overall enjoyment of the meal and left me feeling somewhat disappointed in the attention to detail.

Furthermore, despite specifically requesting beans to be included in the consommé and paying an additional fee for this customization, I was disappointed to discover that this request was overlooked. This oversight was regrettable and contributed to a sense of frustration regarding the overall dining experience.

In comparison to other establishments, while Nene's Taqueria offers a commendable Birria Pizza, it falls short of surpassing the superior culinary standards set by Bar Bruno. Let's just start off and say I love tacos. If you do not know about Nenes Taqueria, well then, I'm assuming you live underneath a rock. I absolutely love this place. I always order takeout. The eating area is very small with a few bar stools. When the weather is nice, they do put a few tables out in front with chairs. I ordered the Nenes Birria combo, which comes with 3 Tacos De Birria with Cheese, Cilantro, Onions, and 1 Consome. Lord, when I tell you this is the best Birria taco I ever had. The flavors from that shredded beef are delicious. The consome I swear you can drink from the cup. I ordered a chicken quesadilla for my son, just chicken and cheese. He loved the quesadilla. I ordered a side of guacamole and chips. Guacamole is delicious. I like how they have a station set up where you can pack your own grilled onions, sauces, limes, radishes, and utensils. In my opinion, I honestly think they have the best birria tacos. I love how well staffed they are equipped. Workers are super friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend you try Nenes Taqueria. Honest truth. I couldn't go to sleep Friday night and started browsing my Instagram. All the sudden, Boom. When I saw the add for Nenes Taqueria, I was amazed by the Birria Pizza and soon will try the Ramen Birria too. I was thrilled on Saturday to step in Nenes Taqueria and believe me, everything on the Menu and the price was great. Not expensive at all. Of course, I bought the Birria Pizza with everything in it and got myself a Taco and a Horachata drink. ( white drink that taste like cinnamon and oatmeal) heaven. When I got home, OMG the moment when you are eating the Birria Pizza is Out of this World. Make sure to put it on a plate, you can eat it with your hand too but will get messy. They are huge, filled with cheese, birria meat, onions,cilantro, bits of tomatoes and guacamole. It's Amazing how they prepare it and even you can save it for 2 more days in the refrigerator (microwave it later to eat at 1:20 minutes. I am recommending everyone to check this place out.
