After going to their other location on Lincoln first, to learn they do not serve smoothies? I walked over to this Flatbush location. It was an extremely confusing visitor experience. Signs plastered absolutely everywhere about various drinks they sell in hard to read text. There was no greeting upon entry. After several minutes looking around confused, I asked where the coffee drinks menu was, the barista rudely pointed to 4 different signs (soâŠokayâŠthen itâs not obviousâŠ.). Ordered a cold brew in the end bc I still couldnât translate all the stuff going on. It tasted like it was brewed several days prior. The smoothie was basically just water with an unnatural blue tint to it and ZERO fruit. Not sure what they put in it, but I couldnât finish it.
To boot, they were serving their ice out of a literal igloo cooler from WalMart that I am pretty sure is a health code violation⊠will not...

Coffee is fine, a little on the bitter side as others have said. Service was very polite. Atmosphere is, given the lack of facilities and sparse interior, not particularly humane. There are many sweet and savory choices. Making yourself comfortable isn't hard to do. And the engaging, friendly staff will help you with the flavorful coffee served simply.
