The absolute worst food I've had delivered in NYC in as long as I can remember. I wish I had seen the negative reviews here because I agree with all that they're saying. This is certainly not Thai food, which my family loves. Instead it's like Chinese food with a little bit of Thai influence but everything is of extremely poor quality and just plain gross. The other person's review of the mango rice is spot-on. It wasn't just bad food, it was totally inedible. We placed an order of over $70 and when we called to complain they refused to give us a refund. I don't enjoy posting bad reviews but I really hope that no one else suffers like we did. Yummy Thai looks like it's a part of another restaurant next door that allegedly serves Chinese and Sushi. Stay away!

I ordered the mango sticky rice.. and what came was a TON of rice drenched in a sweet soup with tiny cubes of mango, some pink fruit, and... raisins. This is nowhere near what mango sticky rice is. Also, they didn't even use sticky rice, this is regular ole hard grains of rice in a soup of milk. Disgusting.

i was a little concerned when my food arrived and it was a huge portion. worst thai basil ever had. extremely mushy with no flavor whatsoever . and not at all spicy. just a bland bowl of vegetable juice filled to the top .

I ordered on Seamless, which had Yummy Thai's rating as perfect 5 out of 5; which is odd, because as I looked into it, there were MANY one star reviews that didn't seem to factor into their rating.

I ordered Thai Iced Coffee, which was seemingly just some really basic iced cofee.

I ordered the eggplant basil dish, which was not spicy, poorly cooked and seemed to be in some sort of very generic tasting Chinese food sauce, like general tso's or something; tasted VERY ketchupy.

I also ordered fried oysters, which were pretty much fine, nothing to complain about there.

Overall, this definitely didn't seem like Thai food at all, and seemed closer to low-end Chinese takeout. Really disappointing overall, and I would otherwise give 2 stars for the fried oysters, but the fact that they have a perfect 5 on Seamless when they have a ton of 1-star reviews compels me to give them 1 star.

(Also I'm unable to rate and review them on Seamless for whatever reason, but they do not deserve a 5 star rating; they obviously bought ratings...

This is a low quality Chinese restaurant pretending to be Thai. Avoid.

Some of the worst food I’ve had in NYC in 15 years. Flavorless, spiceless, thin sauces. The chicken is the slimy and unusually textured-kind, either reconstituted meat or very inexpensive. The vegetables are huge and bland, like they came from a can. Even the peanut sauce was bad! Woof!

Looking it up on google, this seems like one of those Chinese places that also ‘specializes in’ fried chicken and burgers. I got my $25 lunch refunded via Seamless; writing here so you don’t make the...
