New Dorp food cart — Restaurant in New York

Not as good as cart on Richmond Avenue near Arthur Kill.

Edit: Initial review based on chicken over rice plate. Haven’t had that again (first and last time in 2021), but doubt has changed. Not a fan of the pickles and potatoes in the mix.

Decided to give a try again, but this time going with a gyro.

Gyro also different than what offered at other carts (chicken is shredded, while marinated in a pinkish spice). But must say is on point to my liking / two thumbs up 👍🏼👍🏼.

Atmosphere it’s a food cart that stays open for our convenience until 3am and they never run out of what ever you wish to order. It’s my favorite halal food on The Island and lower side of the city. The guys working are polite and will customize your order no problem. Food is fresh and tasty consistently, I order midday, late night, weekdays, and weekends. Absolutely love the guys who serve everyone, very friendly, caring and supportive. I can order the best chicken over rice from them and tell them I forgot my wallet they’ll say “it’s okay, tomorrow” with a smile on their face. They absolutely pack your plate up...
