Just off the busiest Avenue in Brooklyn Chinatown, steps from 8th Ave. Happened upon this place while driving by looking for parking and to seek a spot for dinner as with Covid, many establishments were closed or cleaning up. It was barely 8pm. This evening though, the restaurant was not short on business but was short on staff. As per the manager, he usually has a 20 person operation but it was only 9 staffers that day. Business was humming along and as I sat watching the wait staff bring out dish after dish and take out boxes galore...I didn't mind the slight delay. The salt and pepper squid was my favorite as was the sauce-y beef chow fun I ordered. Normally folks prefer the dry chow fun but I opted for the extra sauce version given I was dining in. Made the noodles extra savory. Great choices by many diners as I watched the food come out of the kitchen. Solid restaurant and a cult following it seems as I saw 40+ take out orders in the hour...
