Paris Baguette — Restaurant in New York

I had high hopes until i went up to the register to ask for a simple iced coffee with syrup and was told i could not order it. When i asked why, the answer was i could only get a latte or hot coffee even though the menu on the headboard literally said iced coffee. So, i later explained to the worker that she could just make me a regular iced coffee and she still refused to because "there was no way of ringing me up for it" . After going back and forth over a simple iced coffee the manager comes up and guess what? There was iced coffee after all. He let the workers know they were wrong and finally did my iced coffee. In the end i had to go through all of that for a watered down cup of coffee. The staff must be terribly trained or clueless because i wasnt asking for something crazy. I mean really, you walk into a cafe hoping to get a cup of iced coffee and not have to fight for it. Anways you're better off going to another bakery in the area or even Dunkin Donuts because the coffee tasted like dish water and the staff...

Bacon & egg sandwich was not what I ordered I put in the order online for delivery! I distinctly said no cheese & eggs scrambled they sent the egg sandwich with cheese stuck to eggs not scrambled & bacon separate not well done bread separate! That is not how the picture in the advertisement is shown! Not good @ all either follow instructions or get in contact with customer to let him/her know this is how you prepare your sandwiches! I'm very disappointed, not happy @ all a waste of my money! I'm on a fixed income & a senior citizen who doesn't have money to throw away! Just because customers are not in store doesn't mean you can just get away with sending anything to paying customers! I always like the raisin danishes I always order 6 @ a time this time 2 of the 6 so far taste as if a little bit of salt was spilled in the middle of the danishes, I'm not used to it tasting that way, I like sweetness not saltiness! I visited this place yesterday in 10:32 Am in 09/23/2025 . After finishing my first order, I decided to get a second coffee. The first time, they made a mistake, but the guy was polite and fixed it. The second time, I specifically asked the girl for a short coffee, but she filled the cup completely. When I reminded her, she simply poured some out of the same cup and handed it back to me, saying, “Now it’s short.”

That was extremely frustrating and honestly very unprofessional. I told her, “You just poured out the coffee and gave it back to me — does that seem normal to you?” She just stared at me with an attitude instead of offering a solution. In the end, they didn’t bother to make me a proper coffee, and they didn’t refund me either, even though I had already paid.

Overall, the service at 5810/8th Ave is disappointing. Staff with no care for customers, and I definitely don’t...
