Was craving birria tacos, Google maps took us here and we almost skipped out on it because it wasn’t a sit-down place, but even on a chilly day it was worth it! Fair pricing for how good it is, the consommé is $4 but goes a long way; we shared it between 2-3 people and still had extra! Overcharged. Ordered two chicken quesadillas ($10x2) plus extra guacamole, they told me $24. I paid with Apple Pay and just saw now that they charged me $28.70!!! Their card machine is strategically located very high so you can’t see the amount on the display, and I didn’t think to ask for the receipt as this has never happened before in NYC, and anywhere for that matter. Authentic, Tasty, on the street Birria. No wonder this is one of the most hunted in NY. The taste, the staff and the price deliver. Tacos with the consomme (generously meaty) are a must.
