Paesano's Pizzeria — Restaurant in New York

How this place has 5 stars is beyond me. I live 3 mins away driving wise. We just moved in so we are trying new places. I ordered a large pie, garlic knots with sauce on the side and a soda. Paid on card with a added 10$ tip for the driver. The food got here within 30 mins and was ICE COLD also they forgot the sauce. My kids wouldn’t eat the food and because no sauce my picky 4 year old wouldn’t even touch the garlic knots. I called and told the guy what has happened and got a “ahhhhhhhhh” and no response for a good 2 mins and then got “they make the pies fresh to order” if this was true my food wouldn’t have been ICE COLD. I LIVE 3 MINS AWAY! I’ve ordered from places that is 20 mins away driving wise and My food was burning hot. Maybe you guys should invest in hot bags to keep the food HOT. Disappointed and wasted my money....

We’ve been ordering from this place for years. We understand restaurants can be backed up but do not tell me an hour for delivery when it is really 2 and a half hours. I called after an hour and a half and was told 20 more minutes. The food showed up exactly 2 and a half hours from when we called in the order. Totally UNACCEPTABLE- I should not have had to pay for the food and will not be ordering from here again. Please do better at managing your customers expectations. When I called to make a complaint - the person on the phone seemed like he couldn’t care less. Aside from that, the food leaked everywhere inside the bags and was in disarray. Pizza is great. But service wasn’t impressive. I came into pick up my pizza that had a pick up time for 2 o’clock at 1:50 to see if it was ready. I clearly knew it wasn’t going to be ready but it doesn’t hurt to check. I came in and was told it wasn’t ready which is fine but it was expressed in a very rude way and it wasn’t like I was super early it was 10 mins. I went back out to the car and came in at 2 like I was told to. Food still was not ready and I ended up waiting 10 mins more in the store.
