Tried this place a few times since their grand opening. Initially things were great but as they became popular and started to be very busy, came the sloppy service and poor quality control.
If I’m driving all the way to your business to buy your product and pay for it with my hard earned money, then I deserve to receive a quality product and service.
Unfortunately, the last couple of times were very disappointing. I didn’t get what I paid for but received sloppy and poorly made food instead. The Kunafah had almost no cheese and looked and tasted like a five year old made it. As matter of fact, I believe a 5 year old would have did a better job making it. When you spend almost $100 for 4 Kunafahs, 2 ice cream scoops, a waffle and a fruit salad, you expect to get some decent quality food not some rushed and poorly made stuff.
I hate to rate a startup business such low rating but I tried to bring the issue to the business owner’s attention by personally driving to the store to raise the issue but the person I spoke with didn’t seem to care or even concerned about my experience. Instead, he looked like he heard similar complaints from other customers before.
As a business owner, you should always strive to provide top notch service and quality products even if you’re extremely busy because that’s what’s going to keep your customers coming back. Hire more workers, setup quality control training for your staff, teach them about the importance of providing quality service and products.
So many businesses start out great and then end up in self destruction mode due to poor management and lack of care for their customers. Without customers, no business could ever thrive!
Ignoring customers’ complaints will only lead to lost business. In today’s competitive market, losing one customer is one too many! I refuse to return to any business that doesn’t value their customers. Therefore, I will not be returning to this...
Read moreI had a terrible experience at this dessert shop. Our order took forever to arrive, and the staff were incredibly rude throughout. To make matters worse, there was a hair in the dessert I received. When we brought it to their attention and asked for a refund, they accused us of pulling out our own hair and placing it in the dessert — a completely outrageous and insulting claim. Mind you we spent over $100 in this place this night only for them to be atrocious!!
As Muslim women who wear hijab, this accusation was not only false but deeply offensive. It shows a complete lack of respect and understanding of who we are. This is not the kind of behavior we would ever engage in, and to be treated this way was disgusting.
Instead of taking responsibility or handling the situation professionally, they were dismissive and disrespectful. When we asked to speak to the owner, we were told they weren’t available. The whole experience left a bad taste — both literally and...
Read moreAs a tourist visiting Staten Island, I stumbled upon Yallah Habibi and I’m so glad I did! From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and genuine kindness. The customer service was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially for someone not familiar with all the items on the menu.
The sweets were absolutely delicious — rich in flavor, perfectly fresh, and beautifully presented. I tried the biscoff koshari and kinder waffle, and they were some of the best I’ve ever had! What really stood out was how quick the service was. Even with a relatively large order (we were a party of 9), there was not too long of a wait at all.
If you’re visiting Staten Island and looking for a tasty treat with great vibes, Yallah Habibi is...
