I was taken aback by how the lady behind the counter was more concerned with her personal video call than packing up my order and processing my payment; my order was sitting there (I ordered by phone in advance for pickup, during which the lady taking the order seemed distracted and irritable) and she took her time attending to her video call, with her phone propped up on the counter, before finally slowly packing the items up as I stood there waiting to pay for my order. It seems this is the norm unfortunately, and perhaps these personal distractions are the reason I wasn't given the samosas I ordered when I came a previous time (although when I came a few days later they did give them to me). While the workers and the manager here generally seemed nice, this is another incident of terrible customer service.

With that being said, i can not express how much better this place is compared to other Southeast asian restaurants. They specialize in a few items, but those items are made with top-notch ingredients, and the chef knows what they're doing.
You have to try it for yourself to be able to understand. Granted, you have some experience with bengali food.
The prices are also competitive and in some areas undercutting the rest of the chains, for example, the mango lacchi. Please try their biriani. It is the perfect texture and taste.
Not to mention the staff who give you the deshi experience which can't be said about...

Service was attentive during our entire meal even though they were very busy with all tables full and constant walk in traffic. I...
