Our dining experience at Palermo Pizza was absolutely outstanding from start to finish! What began as a visit to a pizza place turned into a full culinary adventure that surpassed all expectations.

We started with their delicious pasta fazool soup - a perfect blend of beans, pasta, and savory broth that set the tone for the meal. The appetizers were incredible - both the fried ravioli and calamari were crispy on the outside and tender inside, perfectly executed and seasoned.

That summer salad deserves its own paragraph! It was so amazing we nearly had a friendly dispute over who would get the last bite. I ultimately let my friend, who owns FC CHAOS BOXING, have the final taste - sometimes it's wise to be generous, especially with someone in the boxing business!

For main courses, we enjoyed the signature Sal Special sandwich with its amazing combination of fried eggplant, fresh mozzarella, and roasted peppers finished with a balsamic glaze. The lasagna was perfection - layers of pasta, cheese, and sauce in perfect harmony. We also tried their rica ball special (a delightful surprise) and believe it or not, a cheeseburger that would make dedicated burger joints jealous!

Who would think a pizza place could excel at so many different dishes? The service matched the quality of the food, and the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable throughout our visit. The first thing you notice upon entering this Pizzeria restaurant is the vast array of available pizza choices ( I counted 12 in the display) but this is just the beginning as this very accommodating staff will customize your pizza and toppings. There is Sicilian, Grandma, Gluten free and their Standard pizza doughs in thin or regular crusts but then an authentic sauce and endless combinations for toppings sets them apart as they meticulously create your order. Salvatore, Angela & Angelika run an impressively trained staff who more than deliver treating each customer like family. I was very impressed with the depth of flavor in their Vodka & Marinara sauces but there are many choices on their extensive entree menu. They have a meatball rollup, a very tender Philly Cheesesteak, Garlic Knots & Calzones that I'm still thinking about! They are known for their daily homemade Zeppolli's regular and chocolate filled OMG! Portions and prices are more than reasonable. When weather permits there is outside dining and wheelchair access. Oh & on Saturday evenings there is even entertainment but make a reservation as they have a big following and this family gives back to its community...

In the past I’ve given Palermo 5 stars but due to the fact that I ordered today and the order was horrible I’m doing this. I ask every time I call to let pizza cool down because hot cheese runs in the box. I spend $50-150 per week here and tonight they send my pie cheese and sausage running in box for the 4th incident!!!!! Good in the beginning but now I’m very upset would tip $10 every time to the guys. I was very angry when I called and sent order back, they sent nothing I didn’t want it was so angry and disappointed you normally treat your good customers special!!!!! I’m done !!!!! If I’d known people found hair in their pizza or chicken fingers were partially raw I’d never of ordered in the first place. It’s close to a year that I’ve been ordering ashamed that restaurants have such attitude in Staten Island well once people stop ordering or visiting they’ll get the hint lot more pizza places around gotta hit them in the pocket then they’ll understand!!!!!!!!
