PaPa Chicken(Forest Hills) — Restaurant in New York

Decided to try this new neighborhood chicken shop after seeing some tasty looking signs outside. & I'm really glad I did. I had the Paprika Chicken Sandwich & fries.

First, everything is made to order, you can tell everything is very fresh. One the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had (very tender and juicy), and they do a few things to make it unique, such as the Paprika spice, sesame bun, homemade ranch. Fries are very crispy as well, and cashier knew exactly how to pack them for take out so they stay that way!

Second, I also like that they asked if I wanted white or dark meat. I went for the dark, since I've never had the option. Super flavor. One thing I would suggest that would improve, add 1 more piece of lettuce. The single piece of lettuce that I got kind of disappears into the chicken, and wish I had just a bit more to keep the sandwich together. I have been looking for a high quality fried chicken for 6 years since I moved to U.S. As a person from South Korea where more than 100 hundreds chicken brand compete each other, I always feel something missed.

TODAY, I FOUND THE ANSWER. THE ANSWER IS HERE.

PaPa Chicken's pistol leg shot my tongue like a real pistol. When I was hit on by thier pistol, my brain automatically aired the first memory of eating chicken in old chicken diner (definetly in South Korea).

I was able to forget about my past, future, and the journal paper that I am working. I literaly focused on what I eat for a 30 minute. There is no need to do yoga for this mindfullness moment. Only here, now, and fried chicken.

I was able to forget everything, but I cannot miss my honorable opportunity to write this review. Even my concern about broken english does not matter.

Clean table, kind staff (owner?), no irrational tip, reasonable price, and perfect frying/marinade.

I will definetly return to this...

Was in the mood for some chicken and this was outside my apartment which is across the street. Walked over and asked for best recommendation. Lady at the desk said chicken sandwich and 2 sides with a drink. Ordered that with the side of chicken nuggets times 2. Took about 7 mins or less for it to be prepared. Got home, unwrapped the goodies and saw a note about providing them feedback and thanking them for supporting local business. NGL aside from the note which was personal, the food was BOMB!!!! Meaning it was great. Chicken sandwich was made to order and fresh. You can def tell it was fresh. Chicken nuggets felt organic which was also fresh. Came with two sauces, spicy mayo and bbq. Overall, amazing chicken and would come back and try the spicy one. Positive experience for the price of $13 dollars. Only thing I would ask is to not put the mayo sauce as much but this place won’t disappoint you. FRESHH FOOD and taste FRESH. Go give it a try. Thank you Papa...
