Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in New York

I love this Papa Johns, food is always fresh and tastes great but the drivers from this store always call you to go outside your building and pickup your food no matter if they find a parking or not and they are so rude with no professionalism. You don’t want to get out your apartment after paying delivery fee plus tips.

Last night the driver called me to go outside and pickup the food telling he can’t find a parking, when I went outside I found the whole block was empty for parking and it’s a legal park after 7:00 pm, and the time was 9:00 pm and he was standing his car right on a legal park.

So they just lie and don’t want to come to your door no matter what, and Papa Johns saying it’s a non contact delivery during this pandemic, I know it’s not the Papa Johns and it’s not the Papa Johns’ level of service it’s the local franchise.

I get 4-5 food deliveries every single week straight to my door during any time of the day, they never even call. Observing this matter for two years I called the store today and spoke to the manager, and he was giving me the same lies and defending the drivers. So it’s not only the drivers, it’s the management itself unprofessional and gives privilege to drivers to abuse the service. What would you expect from them?? Only if corporate can do some. Don’t go to this location ! It’s horrible service Staff are rude when they answer the phone, they can’t even take a simple order without Messing up the order. I order papa John’s pizza in union turnpike . Never got my order and they still charge me for it . Be aware!!! They should close the location. This is not the first time that happened to me. There are other Incident they take to long for delivery 1 hour to 3 hours to get my order. the pizza taste horrible , employees are all rude. The Location is dirty as well. We need to complain about places like this. I will have to call 311 to complain and have someone check there location. The managers are not doing anything about it to improve the service. I ordered a large pizza with mushroom from here and it came with a few slices of pepperoni by mistake. I cant eat the pizza now due to my dietary restrictions, so I called up the restaurant to inform them of the mistake and the manager said himself that they'll send another one out with a free 2-litre. I just said no thanks instead can I get a refund or even a partial refund? He said of course but still tried to sway me to get another one instead of the refund and even said I can call back any other day and I'll get one for free. I thought that was great! I called the manager again today after 3 days hoping I could get that pizza now but he goes back on his word and says that I get an "employee discount" but only on menu prices but I still get a free 2-litre. I was really disappointed to hear that after the last pizza had to be thrown out. Terrible customer service. They only care to sell you more no matter their mistake! 0 stars...
