Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in New York

I was a regular customer of this Popeye for so many years in this neighborhood. Today 04/04/23 at around past 9pm, I bought a 12 piece meal and one popcorn shrimp (shrimp only). She quoted me a price for shrimp only @ $8. I said ok. My order number was 65. I gave the cashier $60. My change was $11.25.

I asked for sauces. Sweet & sour and honey mustard. She only gave me 1 of each so I asked for more. She wouldn't give me any more than 2. She said I have to pay for extra sauce. I'm not asking for extra because I bought 12. I should get at least 1 sauce for 2 pieces of chicken. I bought 12 pieces meal and she didn't even give me tartar sauce for the shrimp. She wants me to pay for extra sauce???? I asked for the manager but he did not even stop his staff from talking and insisting that i should pay for the additional sauce. I came there to buy dinner not argue with anyone over sauces. How am i going to enjoy chicken without enough sauce? Lousy staff for turning this regular customer away. The manager even insinuated that I'm trying to pull one on them for saying I gave her $100. I told him she wouldn't give me back my receipt and I don't remember how much I gave her. I needed to show him all my money in my pocket that are mostly hundred dollar bills??? I opted to get a refund for the Lousy service from manager and staff. I'm not doing business at this Popeye...

It always seems to take way longer than usual for me to order "fast food" from this location thru the app. My last order took 18 minutes to fill an order for one $5 shrimp deal (8 butterfly shrimp + fries + biscuit) and when I got it home I found they gave me a handful of popcorn shrimp instead of the advertised 8 butterfly shrimp. There's never a long line to place an order but a lot of people standing around waiting for their number to be called. Seems odd since you can't even SEE the cook in the back over the gigantic mounds of prepared food sitting there, ready and waiting to be boxed up and served but for some reason, app orders just don't seem to get noticed until you actually walk in to pick them up. Outside of that, the location is clean, convenient, parking is easy (no drive-thru though) and the food is fine. I just wish that the staff wouldn't make it a habit of ALL turning their backs to the counter simultaneously and acting like no one is standing there asking for some napkins or trying to pick up their order. I've seen this happen so often that I joke about it with others who can't believe they being so...

Ordered a meal that consisted of 4 different items. When I get home, I realized they forgot my order of large fries. I had to drive back and tell them that they forgot, lady in the front acts like there was no way she could’ve made a mistake, after some convincing she FINALLY decides to give me my large fries that I should’ve gotten to begin with. I asked her if she was going to offer me anything else since it was HER mistake that made me have to drive all the way back. She said no you ordered regular fries and I gave you large. I said no, I ordered LARGE fries to begin with and YOU FORGOT. Her attitude is really disgraceful how are you going to stand there and act like this isn’t your fault.
