Nice, spacious cafe around Coney Island. Didn’t know there was something like this around this area. Went on a Saturday around 2pm and there were lots of open seats (not many people there). My friend and I got the Raspberry Gelato ($1.99 for a cup) although it wasn’t fully filled, but still pretty cheap. We also got an Iced Matcha Latte and a regular Iced Latte. We had expected these would be sweetened, but turns out they’re not, but there are sugar packets you can find in a certain section. My friend felt the Iced Matcha Latte was too sandy (matcha didn’t melt well into the latte). The Iced Latte was normal. Mainly liked the atmosphere and setup of the cafe since it was a a nice place to just sit and chat. Also very well air-conditioned to the point where I was starting to sniffle a little on a hot day.

I usually love coming to this coffee shop, but today was a huge disappointment. My grandma and I were enjoying a peaceful coffee by the window bar when a window cleaner started working on the indoor windows right next to us. He didn’t bother to apologize or even acknowledge that he was disrupting our time. No “excuse me,” no “thank you,” just completely inconsiderate behavior. He said lemme wash the windows and rushed us to get up and move. I have no problem with moving out, but my 84 yo grandma had to quickly move out as well.... It’s really frustrating when a place you enjoy doesn’t train its staff to respect customers. I hope management takes this seriously because a little courtesy goes a long way.... Attached below is the photo of the person who I was talking about...

The very new addition to Brighton/Coney Island area. Just opened a week ago spot specializing on the backing goods and have quite impressive variety of croissants. But they also have some options for more healthier choices, as well as ice cream and Gelato. The place is surprisingly quiet roomy and have inside and outside seating with very modern and interesting decor. All they backed stuff goes on discount one hour prior closing. Speaking of which is usually 8pm except for Sunday, which is very surprising for this kind of place, but people like me who wouldn't mind to get late cup of coffee definitely would appreciate. Just one advice - ask how fresh is their backed stuff before you buying it. Other than that a very welcome addition to the neighborhood.

I am deeply upset and disappointed with my recent experience at PEP Bakery. I have been a loyal customer since their opening, making it a weekly ritual to visit with my husband, enjoying matcha and baked goods as we plan our week. Despite overlooking the unfriendly baristas and the reduction in portion sizes despite price increases, this latest visit was a breaking point. Last weekend, after a 20-minute trip to the bakery at Seabreeze location, I was informed that I could not choose my eclair. Instead, they serve eclairs in a strict order: first, the day before yesterday's eclairs, then yesterday’s, and only then today’s (they have special IPad with order of serving). This means that if I arrive early, I am getting eclairs from two days ago, and if I’m lucky, those from yesterday. To top it off, the first two eclairs were half the size of what I expected. Due to LAW Customers have the right to choose their items and expect to be served fresh, high-quality products, especially at a bakery!!! This policy not only ruined my day but also disrupted my cherished weekend ritual. It’s incredibly disappointing and unfair to treat loyal customers this way. Given this experience, I am seriously reconsidering whether I will return to PEP Bakery, and I am doubtful that I will continue to recommend it to my friends. This level of service is simply...
