I went in person to book a birthday party on a day that had a special promotional discount and there were many parents booking parties so they were extremely busy on a Friday at 5pm. I was patient and Samantha helped me book it and was very polite; she answered all my questions and showed me around without giving me an atitude. I did read the contract and unfortunately it says any oustide catering food would have a $75 fee; but you can bring a fruit salad, veggie tray or cheese board free of charge. Unfortunately, they don't have much catering options to choose from except for pizza and toppings. I wanted to offer my guests, wings or tenders, but they didn't have tray options; only individual portions, which seems insane when you have 50 guests. We just went with the pizza, which is similar to what you would find a Chuckie Cheese or Domino's; not the tastiest. I think that is the only downside.
I did remind ALL my guests to sign the waiver before arrival. I showed up 30 minutes before my party time, and Raymond, the manager on that day, was gracious enough to let us in to decorate the party room. Although, they do provide you with their own type of party plates, I brought my own specific character themed balloons, plates, table clothes. Kimberly was our party host and she was sooooo nice and sweet. Super helpful. She setup my decorations, served pizza, and cut the cake for us. They let the adults gather at the party room for the entire 2 hours of the party, which was really nice of them, because their website specifies the room is used only last 40 minutes of the party. After 2 hours, we did have to leave the room, but we were able to stick around outside till closing time.
Raymond asked me to double-check the final bill before closing the tab which was really professional of him. All the staff seemed to really care about our event inorder to make us feel like we had a great time.
The kids had soooo much fun and all the adults were impressed at how big and clean the place was. The party rooms are beautiful and each have a smart TV where you can play YouTube music videos. Each party room has a Golden Throne for the birthday kid to feel extra special. The party took place on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't super busy - felt like we had a...

We recently celebrated our son’s birthday at Catch Air in Coney Island , and it was the worst party experience we’ve ever had. The facility itself is beautiful and fun for kids, but the staff—especially the manager, Samantha—were unbelievably rude and unprofessional.
Before the party even began, I received a call from Samantha telling me I was “extremely late” (I was only 15 minutes late) and that she wouldn’t let my guests in until I arrived. I explained I was parking and asked repeatedly for her to let them in, but she kept yelling at me and refusing. My guests had to wait for 15 minutes inside by the front door, and then another 30 minutes in line just to check in. If guests say they are here for my party, why wouldn’t you let them in? I was never informed beforehand of this “no entry without the host” rule, and paid for that time in the center. We had 54 guests, yet only one party host was assigned. He was very nice and truly tried his best, but there was no way he could do it alone, so I helped him. The center only gives 40 minutes in the party room, which would be fine if everything was organized, and we had at least 2 party hosts. Before we could even serve the cake, Samantha came in and told us we had 10 minutes to leave. I asked for 15 extra minutes so the kids could eat the cake, and she demanded $100 more. I agreed to pay, but then they told me another party was booked in the room—so we couldn’t even finish the cake we had just served, and had to leave the room. The package we booked included ice cream for the kids, but none was provided.
Honestly, I’ve hosted many birthday parties for my son over the years, and this was by far the most frustrating and poorly managed. The worst part was terrible management. The only positive was our assigned party host’s kindness—and the fact that they allow kids to stay and play in the facility after the party, so at least the children could still enjoy themselves...
Read moreStay away from this place!!!! Beautiful facility, terrible management, and unfair business practices. We recently hosted my child’s birthday party at the brand-new Catch Air Brooklyn location. While the facility itself is clean, colorful, and the kids had a blast, my overall experience as a parent was extremely disappointing — and I would not recommend booking a party here.
Lack of transparency before booking: Important rules (such as no outside food, no pizza, no coffee for adults, no large water bottles, no glass containers) were only sent after I had booked and paid the deposit. Their coffee machine was broken, yet no alternative was provided — this was an 11 a.m. party, and guests had no coffee available.
Missing items from the paid package: The package we booked included ice cream for the kids, but none was provided.
Overcharging and refusal to refund: Our package was booked and confirmed 2 days bofore the party. Instead, they charged me for 20 kids. When I noticed the mistake immediately after payment, I asked for the difference to be refunded. They refused( and over $300 which I don’t see fair to give them) not even offering a credit or gift card — and told me to email “corporate,” which never responded. This was their billing error, not mine, yet I am left overcharged with no resolution. From my experience (and reading similar reviews on Facebook local groups), this appears to be a recurring issue — not an isolated mistake.
Bottom line: Beautiful space, but customer service, transparency, and honesty in billing are seriously lacking. If you choose to book here, triple-check your bill, expect strict rules that may limit your guests’ comfort, and be aware that management may not correct their...
