Peter's Grill and Bar — Restaurant in New York

It was an okay experience. Ordered 2 drinks, asked the waitress questioned about the drinks but it didn’t sound like she knew what she was talking about. Drinks came and the frozen drink wasn’t even how it was suppose to be, it was all watery and the presentation wasn’t presentable how a frozen margarita suppose to look like. The food was good (thank god) but doesn’t look like I would come here again. Overcharged me on the margarita when she told me it was going to be $16 and ended charging me $18, didn’t bother to call her over $2 but if on the menu it stated you choose the following liquor you want & then the price state should be the price especially when the waitress is confirming me the price herself. Also it’s outrageous that they charged me for water $2 when it should’ve been free and should’ve been served when dining. Tip should be optional on how much you want to leave even when only 2 people are dining I understand charging tip on the bill only when a party of 4 or more are dining together but only 2 people? Just trying to steal money from you. Overall I doubt I’ll come back, waitress was nice but she rarely came by the table, only twice and there was only 1 other table sitting inside so it wasn’t like it was busy. Think this establishment has a lot to learn especially employees and how to do their job, because the “security” is suppose to be by the doors not by the bar, cutting up fruit but if this is how this establishment works than it’s not...

I wish I could say something good about this place, but there isn't. Food was alright, definitely not worth the price. We got large portions but the portions don't matter if the food is mediocre. The waitress doesn't seem to know her liquor or winez, and it's crazy that they've had this problem for so long as you can read in other reviews and they still can't teach their servers about their menu. We spent a total of $600 but they still charged my group for entrance to their lounge area, which was EMPTY! This was insane. But it doesn't stop there, once inside after paying an entrance fee for an empty lounge area, they forced us to continue to buy drinks. We had no choice with them. They kept following us and pestering us to get drinks. Then the same was with the hookah. No matter how many times our group said that we weren't interested, the same girls returned pestering us to buy hookah. $600 was spent on food, plus entrance fees, plus liquor and hookah. The only reason we didnt leave to begin with was because we wanted to enjoy our friends birthday celebration. But never again. The reviews says it all. Service is horrible and the place is not worth over one grand per night. Save your money and take it...

No! Just no. This place is extremely over priced for the quality of food, drinks, and service it has to offer. The waitresses are clueless to what they serve you when it comes to cocktails that is on their menu. When I tried to explain myself on receiving the wrong drink, the waitress immediately got offended and gave us attitude. In the photo you can clearly see it’s a fish bowl! We did not order this and it tasted like sprite and blue curacao syrup with cheap alcohol. The waitress went back and forth with me claiming that it wasn’t a fish bowl and as I read the reviews…. It’s clearly a fish bowl! My friend who does not speak Spanish ordered in English and they did not know how to speak or understand English therefore, I was the only one communicating with the waitresses…. Yes, waitresses because we arrived 30 minutes before a shift change and the second waitress also did not speak nor understand english.
