Honestly phd has given me the worst customer service ever I will be speaking to corporate ! But I will not be letting the way me and my family got mistreated slide . Basically phd has two locations I was calling non stop to ask if a copy of a picture id over the phone will be valid because my sister is 33 but lost her id and we wanted to celebrate my birthday at phd because it’s very beautiful. When we entered phd the bouncer was very disrespectful he was a fat white dude . He explained that a photo id over the phone is not valid only a passport we then asked to speak to a Manger to ask what’s a valid number we could call for further questions because the numbers online rings but no one answers he refused for us to see a manger he said that he already told us what he had to say and he’s not calling down for the manger that we have to go . He acted like he owned the place the host was right next to him seeing how we got mistreated and she didn’t say anything . I asked her how come they don’t answer the phone they both said the host and the bouncer that “it’s extremely busy here and they don’t have time to answer calls “ which I find stupid because at the end of the day this is a business and you should look for time to answer customers calling . I asked for his name because he was very disrespectful and he refused . He said I’m not a cop I don’t need any of his information I wanted his information so that I could contact the manger and let them know the terrible customer service we received from him and the host . We was then leaving out the door and my boyfriend asked him something nothing disrespectful and he said we have to go or he’s gonna put his hands on us and get us out all because we wanted to speak to manager he said the manger is going to tell us the same thing he already told us he refused for us to speak to the manger . And the host was just on her phone not trying to help she saw all this escalate and didn’t care . This bouncer was distrespectful he threatened to remove us just because we asked to speak to a Manger ! Phd has to work on answering there phones or there emails and have to hire bouncers that have respect and don’t act like they own the place and doesn’t refuse for customers to speak...

It is so sad that nowadays that a nightlife establishment treats people based on color race by an unprofessional staff at the door (doorman)who doesn't have a professional background to treat patrons the right way. The door man thinks for whatever reason that he has some brain power to decipher how much money each patron carries on their wallet based on their color and ethnic background.not only does he show a bad representation of his lack of professional by his form to speak to patrons specially a tourist who doesn't "fit " towards his personal demographics.
I want to inform to the PATRON OF BODEGA NEGRA the same partners of PHD TERRACE that next time you see another tourist who is coming to spend money on BODEGA NEGRA to at least have the same door man from PHD to speak to each customer and tell them that their money is not worth in the premise since it seems that tourist dollars mainly Hispanics are not green enough or American enough to pay a check inside your establishment.

Read morebeautiful views and very pretty rooftop. im very disappointed at the service my friend and i received, this place was on my list to visit for awhile and i was super excited to go. we made a reservation for 4 and when we entered the rooftop, there was no one at the hostess table to guide us to our table. long story short ive never experienced such unorganized service and unwillingness to provide service despite a reservation made. there were no seats in the smaller end of the roof, we go to the other side and sit at the bar as they’re setting up when finally a hostess comes and asks if we need anything. we explain that we have a reservation but are confused since there are no available tables, she lets us sit at the table on the larger side and lets us know she’ll get a server for us shortly. then a couple minutes later another host comes to us at our table and says that we cant order drinks from this bar bc they dont open until 5 so we have to order drinks on the other side (the same thing the other host says) even though the bartender themselves said they’d be ready in 10 min (such conflicting information) regardless we were going to order our drinks on the other side and bring them to our table on the other end. we explained what the other host had told us and was confused why he was relaying the same information and it felt like he didnt want us sitting on this side. but if that was the case where was the hostess to provide us a table on the other side bc we literally made a reservation!! we decide to leave bc u shouldnt have to go through all this for food lol then they had the nerve to call us to ask if we left when both hosts literally watched us exit the rooftop. honestly just so unorganized...
