The low rating is more about the food than the establishment: One star for pleasant customer service plus one star for the new homestyle Mac & Cheese (bussin!) Honestly, if the nuggets weren't so MEDIOCRE I'd give another star just on the strength of the homestyle Mac & Cheese. The "nuggets" and I use that word loosely were so small and heavily breaded, I couldn't distinguish between them and popcorn chicken. The biscuit was average, basic.

While waiting for food, I saw sign for Megan Thee Stallion Hottie Sauce. I asked to substitute one for my honey mustard and was told MTS sauce is 25-cents extra. I paid extra quarter to get one. Sauce isn't bad--I enjoyed it more than honey mustard--but it's a scam. Popeye's basically took your run of the mill sweet n spicy dipping sauce, rebranded it, and charged extra. This is part of the reason for low rating: MTS hottie sauce should be no different from any other sauce that comes with nuggets; the packaging is special, but the contents isn't!

Lastly, although I really have no business eating at Popeye's (I already regained enough weight over the holidays), if I were to return, I'd stick to chicken and homestyle Mac & Cheese. And I'd pay an extra quarter, if they let me substitute biscuit for a second side of...

Usually, I will not write a review for Popeyes because I love the food, but on several occasions, some of the workers were completely rude. This lady in the photo was the rudest employee I ever met at Popeyes. First, she was rushing me to order I asked for her recommendations on meals and she told me “just get whatever you want.” Then when I paid for my order, she informed me that there was no change and asked me did I have change. Which I replied no then she shrugged her shoulders and said well I don’t have change and walked away. When I was ordering my food, I asked her if we can get one of the fresh biscuits that just came out because the other biscuits looked dry and hard, she still gave me the hard biscuit. I also ordered a large fry. She did not fill up the box. It was literally barely any fries in the box. Instead of asking me can I wait for more fries, she didn’t say anything. I left the store and had to come back inside. On a normal day, I definitely find the daytime shift more respectful and willing to help their customers. Do I recommend Popeyes? Yes, just when that...

WORST PLACE EVER!! That’s why if you want Popeye’s just go to the one at Staten Island Mall. Best staff!!

We went to Popeye’s today by Forest Ave this 11/25/2021, and the service was at 3:10PM, so let me start by saying this place is very horrible, they have this new rule of not giving out any sauce which we do not know by the way, so we waited until 3 customers already passed us, but when it was our turn I asked if we can have any sauce, the lady told me, I have to pay for it, and told me she doesn’t know the reason why for the sudden change, and if I want I can ask the Manager, so I said I will speak to him, so I spoke to the Manager to ask about this, but take note, the Manager just turned his head towards us, he did not come and talk to us, he was like 10-15ft away, I asked him if there’s no sauce for the chicken, he looked at his employee and made a weird face and turned away from us. In short, he did not answer my question, and was just rudely ignored. So I did not refute anymore since it would be a...

IN MY PICS YOU CAN SEE THAT I PULLED THIS STRAND OF HAIR (AND SEVERAL OTHERS) OUT OF THE FOOD. PREVIOUSLY, I'VE HAD TIMES WHERE THEY WERE LATE IN MAKING MY ORDER, AND I LET IT GO. I REMEMBER SEEING STAFF PICK UP SOME FOOD PACKAGING, THAT HAD FALLEN ON THE FLOOR. THEN PUT IT BACK UP ON A COUNTER, TO USE FOR CUSTOMER'S FOOD (LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED). THAT WAS PROBABLY A YEAR AGO, OR SO. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. THIS LOCATION NEEDS TO DO BETTER. I'VE SPENT HUNDREDS INTO BUSINESS, OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS. IT'S HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING TO SEE THEM LET THEIR STANDARDS DROP THIS LOW. THEY'VE LOST ME AS A CUSTOMER, AND I WARN OTHERS WHOM DECIDE TO PATRON THEM, TO CHECK THEIR FOOD THOROUGHLY. THIS IS DISGUSTING, AND A WASTE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY.
