So sad! I drove from New Jersey to come to one of my favorite restaurants on the island. I am a diabetic and needed to use the restroom. I was first told the restroom was not working so I decided to get my food togo. Then I was told if I was eating at the restaurant I could use the restroom. Then I was put on the phone with someone that said I could not use the restroom at all. And I was asked to leave. I have never been treated so bad by in restaurant and I was one of their first customers to come here when they first opened. So sad and disappointed by the way they treat there loyal customers!!
Update: you know exactly what happened and even though I am Hispanic, Spanish is not my first language, and there was obviously a miscommunication because nobody at the restaurant spoke English. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger added jalapeños to it, and I asked if I could have it for dine in and simply need to use the restroom because I want to wash my hands and I am also diabetic and have to use the restroom often and your staff was not only disrespectful and rude to me but they also told me that the restroom was not working so you are lying and you’re being dishonest, and I have also spoken to other people in the community that have said this is a common known practice by your leader ship, I also gave you a second chance to make it right when I spoke to you over the phone and said I would be happy to continue with my order and leave a wonderful review but you asked me to leave and you said the restroom is not for the public use, but your employee told me the restroom was broken, so which one is it? In addition, your employee also told me if I were to dine in I could use the restroom, but if I were to carry out, I could not use the restroom. The only reason I was caring out is because he initially told me the restroom was broken. Then he changed his story and said I could use the restroom if I dine in. I was 100% there too Purchase food and the only person that was rude was you and your dishonest staff. I am also a military disabled veteran and you had no handicap parking because your patio is taking up the first two spaces of your small parking lot. This is why I said at this point I would refer to the Board of Health because this is a very inappropriate business practice that you are conducting people that want to dine in should have the option to wash their hands before they eat you can sit well more than 25 people in and outside of your establishment. Read moreThe food may be good but we wouldn’t know because they never delivered our order. Customer service was horrible. We placed an order for over $100 and didn’t receive it. The lady was so rude and disrespectful when we called to find out the status/concerns and she told us she would call us back but never did. When we called back she didn’t listen to us rather kept speaking over us as we explained the situation and wasnt willing to work with us even after we presented the option to pick up the food. It was such a frustrating experience and very disappointing Customer service experience. Even though we heard great reviews about the food based on our customer service experience this will not be a place we would consider again.
Response to the owners comment: You stated that "we did contact to you to fix the problem right away" that is NOT accurate statement- you NEVER called us!! We called you EVERY single time! The 1st time we called your employee said that the food left. The second time we called the person said they couldnt find the order, third time we called to find out where it was delivered, your employee shared the order was still at the place!! Then we offered to pick it up since we already paid for it through GRUBHUB!!! At that time the order wasnt cancelled yet (it was just not delivered) so we asked you if we could pick it up instead. And if you willing to LISTEN during the phone call- you would have clearly heard that we were willing to pay as long as we weren't charged twice and asked how much it would be but your employee never provided us the amount nor cancelled the order. Then we were told she would call us back after reaching grubhub to cancel the order but never did. So the fifth time, WE called because WE reached out to grubhub and spoke to them and had to cancel our order because the lack of effort from your business to even follow-up with them or us. And one thing that bothers me is the employee who was supposed to call grubhub and get back to us (again never called us back, we called you to follow-up) said during that call "the wait was too long to reach grubhub" and was more upset WE canceled the grubhub order!! I called like a week ago a man answered, I asked if I can change the nachos to fries and he said yea we can do that, but to call later cus they not open until 3 .so later that night I place the order and a woman calls me n tells me they dont do that I told them I called earlier n the man said he could,than she said she will do one time . I place a order a different time I asked for a burrito n asked for meat on the side didn't have any issue they put the meat on the side .I place the order again the man who answered the phone the 1st time I called said they don't do that I told him I did last time no issue n he said well he gona have to check the cameras and see who did that ,they said they don't do that because burrito looks too skinny I said that's fine .than a lady comes on and said we don't do that if I want to cancel my order .these people just keep having such a attitude so unprofessional, I didn't cancel cus I didn't want to be selfish with the person who placed the order with me so I changed my order instead. Idk they just so rude they contradict themselves frequently, they say they can do something and switch it up or they do it and say they don't do it. They charge u the same price for stuff even if u remove all the sides and won't even give the sides..I've dealt with attitude from these people in the past and it's still a problem.i don't eat meat idky removing meat is such a problem the one time I tasted their meat it was flavorless . I had issues in the past and didn't order there for over a year and starter to order again and I'm coming across the same problems . Spent so much money over there and can't even get respect ,can't spend anymore. Plenty of Mexican places over here who are accommodating. I order meat on the side for the other person I'm with & for my dog since its so bland it doesnt make her sick ,well seasoned food gives my dog diarrhea ,because if I say no meat yall charge me the same price n keep the meat n make double . Any restaurants you order from they modify if it's possible .
