Bun & Beyond Smashburgers — Restaurant in New York

Terrible customer service. This was my first experience and I was excited there was a smash burger place on the island. However ordered my food online and realized when I got to the car that I was missing a side of sauce I ordered (it’s a $1 so yeah I would like what I paid for) I went back inside and politely said “hey I’m pretty sure i ordered a side of sauce for my fries, I didn’t see it in the bag” the boy at the counter had a real SASSY attitude and told me if I ordered it it would be in the bag. I told him I’m pretty sure I know what I ordered but if i didn’t pay for it no big deal. We sat there and stared at each other because now I’m genuinely confused what the attitude is about over a cup of sauce! The young woman in the back eventually gave it to me after I heard the boy said “give her spicy” …the sauce sucked anyways. And guess what was on my receipt when I got back to the car? I ordered the chicken Mac n cheese, a fruity pebbles shake and a raspberry iced tea. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I have never had such terrible delivery service experience. The chicken Mac n cheese said it came with pickles and coleslaw, and obviously Mac n cheese under the chicken. I got no coleslaw, I asked for no pickles so they got that right, and no Mac n cheese. They substituted cold fries underneath instead. The chicken and sauce itself were good but the chicken was lacking. It said it came with two cutlets/fingers and it looks like there’s only one. The fruity pebbles shake was substituted with some kind of sweet bread or pancake bites covered in cereal instead of a shake. I received no phone call or communication regarding these substitutions. Believe the hype. This smash burgers are great. Yummy. In this photos you can see I finished all of it. That should tell you everything you need to know. The burger was heaven. I ordered a regular lemonade which was pretty decent. Fries were good but definitely the better was the sauce. Oh my god the sauce is so tasteful. I had to wait like 10 min for my order but that’s because the place was full. It’s a small place like 5 or 6 tables only (think about it beforehand) They did treat me good and they were efficient. My order was a double smash burger with fries and a lemonade I paid 22.64 (including tip) I would definitely recommend you to give it a shot because I will definitely come back. The only bad thing I guess is that I didn’t see a restroom. But they closed until 12...
