I don’t normally leave reviews, but Prima Di Carne was so disappointing that I feel obligated to warn others. My steak, ordered medium rare, came out gray and dry, closer to well-done, with zero seasoning. For a place that markets itself as a steakhouse, that’s inexcusable. The sushi was somehow worse. The fish tasted like it had been sitting out all day, with a strange odor that made it hard to eat. The rice was hard and clearly not fresh. It felt like they were trying to do too many things at once and failing at all of them. Service was just as bad. Our waiter disappeared for long stretches, messed up the drink order twice, and when we politely asked about the steak being overcooked, the manager shrugged and said, “That’s how our chef makes medium rare.” Unbelievable.
