Español & English No me gusta dar malas criticas. Prefiero darle al negocio la oportunidad de remediar cualquier malentendido. Mi mamá y mi hermana estaban entusiasmadas con estas deliciosas baleadas y pupusas, así que me llevaron desayunar cuando vine de visita. Y tenían toda la razón, la comida estaba deliciosa. El mes pasado volví a visitar y pedimos para llevar: 2 pupusas de queso y 3 de frijol y queso. Recibimos 2 de quesos y 3 de chicharron y queso. Les llame para informarles del error y que así se podia quedar. Ahora estoy de regreso de visita , y mi mamá pidió que ordenáramos baleadas de desayuno. Pedí con anticipación SEIS baleadas, 1 tortilla, 2 pupusas de queso y frijol y 1 de queso. Al pedido le faltaba 1 de frijol y queso. Mi hermana también compró varias cositas adicionales. Gastamos $62 con propina y esperamos 1 hora y 15 minutos para la entrega. Los llamé para hacerles saber del error y les pregunté si era posible que no le cobraran a mami 1 pupusa en su próxima visita. Ella dijo que no porque me habían entregado mi pedido completo. Fue entonces cuando me molesté. Luego le pregunté si me darían la pupusa faltante si regreso ahora o la devolución del costo y me dijo que NO, por que la orden iba completa. La espera es comprensiblemente larga y si te entregan la orden correcta la comida es deliciosa. Pero no agradezco que insinúen que uno es mentiroso y aprovechado. Es de muy muy mal gusto tratar al cliente de esa manera. Y lastimosamente, por muy rica que sea la comida, el maltrato es imperdonable. ——————————————————————— I don’t like writing negative reviews. My mom and my sister were raving about these delicious baleadas and pupusas, so they brought me there for breakfast earlier this year when I visited. They were right, the food was great. Last month I visited again and we ordered for pickup. We ordered 2 cheese and 3 bean cheese pupusas. We received 2 cheese and 3 chicharron and cheese. I called back to let them know that they have given us the correct amount but wrong items, but that it was ok. Well im back in the Bronx and my mom wanted baleadas. I ordered ahead SIX baleadas, 1 tortilla, 2 bean cheese and 1 cheese pupusas. The order was missing 1 bean and cheese. My sister bought some junk food too. We spent $62 w/tip and waited an 1 hour and 15 mins. I called them to let them know and asked if maybe they could not charge my mom for 1 pupusa the next time shes there. She said no because they had given me my order complete. Thats when i became bothered. I then asked if i went back would the give me the missing item or the cost of the missing item, and she said NO. This has been one of the most authentic pupuserias that I have tried here in NYC (not including Long Island). The pupusas were so good not too much maza and the filling was very authentic, like I was in a pupuseria en el salvador. The pupusas I ordered were queso con loroco and revueltas, the loroco tasted fresh and the cheese was that stringy cheese with some flavor not mozzarella cheese haha. The chicharon was one of the better tasting chicharon I've had and it was not watery or bland as other places. Another great thing about this place is the fact that they offer pupusas de maíz o de arroz which you do not see a lot of places do, and both were great. They have a couple of other Salvadoran dishes, but I gotta say the best thing I tried here was the empanadas de plátano. The place is clean, the decor simple and plain. Only one server, overworked. Pupusas were delicious. Made to order which brings me to my only serious complaint. Horrendously long waiting time. Unbelievable, the server informed me that it would take 35 minutes. It took one hour and 10 minutes. As I waited, I saw customers told the same waiting time about half left. That's unfortunate as the food is really good Decent prices and good quality and quantity. They do deliver, which I found out at the end of my stay.
