You have to check out Queens Room in Astoria for their brunch. I almost don’t want to share this because I want to keep it all to myself! The waffles and biscuits are slamming! #fyp #foryou #tiktokfood #brunch #pancakes #biscuits #friedchicken #biscuitsandgravy #comfortfood #coffee #brunch #breakfast #nyc #nycfood #astoriaqueens #foodreview

I had the awesome pleasure of meeting Antonia ( Queen of the Room) just yesterday afternoon by chance while passing by her very attractive and clean corner bistro! I was complimenting on how busy The Queens Room is and she proudly let me know she was the owner! She was very personable, gracious and very cool! I was looking for a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the area and she said that they made the best! I took her word and sat inside at the bar where this tall, dark, handsome guy with perfect eyebrows approached me from behind the bar, with the nicest smile anyone in Queens has ever donned! I should have known he was from the the Great State of Tejas!! Texans are known for big smiles and great hospitality! He introduced himself as "Brady, like The Brady Bunch!"!!!! He made me the most delicious Americano coffee ever in my life! I've had coffee EVERYWHERE and OMGOLLY The Queens Room has won my 1st Place Award for Best Coffee in Astoria and Beyond! Very elegant place with a colorful and entertaining staff, great 'tastes' on their menu and Delicious coffee! I can't wait to go back!

I found out about this place on TikTok and I came for the chicken not waffles. I made a reservation for one online and was immediately greeted and seated. The hostess was very kind and so was my server although she didn’t check on me once which tbh I don’t really I don’t blame her because she probably thought i was still eating since most of the food was on my plate (you’ll read why below). My food didn’t take too long to come out maybe about ten minutes. I didn’t order any drinks. When they brought out my plate I had to hold my face together because of how underwhelmed I was. The pqnckases were flat and way too sweet and not buttery. The chicken was super dry and it’s like a singular flat chicken cutlet that was fried way too hard. I thought it would be hot honey on the chicken but I didn’t taste anything with any slice just super sweet syrup. I ate maybe 4 bites which was 3 bites too many because I wanted to give it a fair chance and still no. The atmosphere is nice, the music is kind of loud but it’s fine. If you’re like me and was expecting to be blown away with the food and service then prepare to be severely disappointed. I can’t speak for anything else on the menu though the people next to me got the biscuits as starters and they smelled wonderful and looked so soft. My meal was $21.19 and I will just take that L and give my food to next homeless person I see so that it doesn’t go to waste.

Ambiance (4/5): The venue was decked out in festive decorations for the holidays. It is dark inside with loud music on in the back. There’s a few dining tables toward the front and along the bar but it was crowded with guests. We ventured in the back where there was an assortment of dining with booths and tables so we seated ourselves. Service (4/5): We already knew our orders and placed them as soon as we were seated. We found it difficult to get service with only 1 wait staff but luckily we didn’t need much attention during the meal. We told the server that the dishes were going to be split and they kindly cut everything and split the dishes for us! Food (3/5): French Onion Soup (no rating): I don’t usually order this so I have no comparison to if it’s good or not. My boyfriend said it was not good. I enjoyed the gruyere cheese on top but wasn’t a huge fan of the soup. QR Burger (3/5): The burger was cooked medium-rare as we had requested! The bbq sauce and caramelized onion gave the burger an extra taste boost however it also made the buns extremely soggy so the burger was difficult to eat. I asked for

This was my first time visiting Queens Room and, I gotta say, it was a great experience. Service The service was great. Very chill atmosphere and the baristas were happy to provide me food recommendations from the menu and answered any questions I had. "If you need anything else, just let me know. Happy to help!" - I thought it was a nice gesture. The food was delivered to my table (not common in a cafe) and the barista asked if I would like any condiments. Food The food was excellent! I ordered the "Ricotta Toast" and I will not soon forget it. This was a slice of toasted sourdough (I think?) bread, spread with sweetened ricotta cheese, topped with walnuts, drizzled with chili pepper maple syrup, and topped with a pepper-sprinkled egg cooked sunny-side up. The toast wasn't too crunchy and the egg was perfectly cooked. Prices The prices are reasonable for a cafe in this area. The ricotta toast with a tall Americano came to around $16. Not too shabby.

Went here for a girls night out. Drinks were interesting and delicious. I had the long love the queen and an autumn venom. Both very good. Not too strong but not weak, tasty and well balanced. For apps we had the toast and hummus both were great. The hot honey on the toast was KILLER and the pita with the hummus was delicious soft and warm. For entre I had the Bolognese which was delicious. Others in my party had the shrimp scampi and raved about it that it had a little spice and was well seasoned. Wish I tried a warm drink but I’ll have to return I guess!!!! Ambiance was excellent, chill vibe and not a loud crowd. Still not a library but you don’t have to scream over each other. A great night out will surely come back.
