This used to be a favorite spot of my sister, fiancé and myself, until last night. We went to get milkshakes around 9:15pm, on Friday, a July 31st. The girl taking the order had me repeat myself twice. She brings the shakes and one of them was wrong, so I asked her to remake it because it wasn't what I ordered. She proceeds to walk away and muffled something inaudible under her mask and went to make a new shake. She returned with a messy shake. There was milkshake leaking everywhere. I asked nicely asked for a new cup, something that would've taken a minute at most. She took about 3 minutes to pour the shake from one cup into the next. I couldn't see what she was doing. Anyway, she brings me the cup, muffles something. I paid and walked away. I noticed there was black syrup in my cup, so I went back and spoke to her colleague and she said she would remake it - I specifically said NO SYRUP. What happened next was appalling. I had my sister walk around to the other side of this establishment and I was watching the front. The new person making my shake, the girl who previously made my shake and a male coworker went to the back room and grabbed a container containing a black liquid. They were laughing and poured it into the blender. My sister knocked on the window and told them, 'I said no syrup'. The girl came to the front and started yelling 'we make it with syrup'. I know this isn't true because I've ordered many times before and syrup was never used. Especially when I said several times, no syrup. Anyway, I don't trust these people. I don't know what substance was in that container and I truly believe they had some concoction of some sort to make me sick. All three of them should be FIRED. I will be writing to their corporate office and reporting them to the health department. Furthermore, there was NO CROWD control and many people didn't have masks on. They have lost three loyal customers....
Read moreWent to Ralph's ices as I always do. Bought 2 ices to go and one in a squeeze cup to eat on the way home. I felt something hard and thought it was chocolate. As I started feeling it with my tongue I realized it was long and thin. Just before swallowing I reached into my mouth and pulled it out. I was shocked to see a long thing that looked like a nail. I pulled over and was a little shook up, realizing what it was and what could have happened if I swallowed it, I turned around and went back to Ralph's ices I went to the window and saw the girl, that served me. I said, "I know this wasnt your fault because it was probably in the ice contailner, and showed her the nail. She said "Oh I know what that is, the scooper is broken and it came from there. Then I was angry. I said "you knew that it was broken and still used it. What if I swallowed it or a parent gave the cup of ices to a child? She didnt say anything. The next day I went back to the manager and showed her the nail. I said "I dont want anything except that you speak to the girls and get different scoopers and said you do know what would have happened if a child had been eating thei ices?". When I showed it to her she also said she knew what and where it came from. I WILL NEVER EAT RALPHS ICES AGAIN. I RETURNED AND THEY STILL USE THE SAME TYPE OF SCOOPERS. I also took a picture of the nail before giving it to the manager. I have pictures but I will save that as a reminder to go somewhere else.and to realize how fortunate I was not to have swallowed that...
Read moreTerrible customer service. I went with my wife, and there where 3 girls talking to a boy. Barely payed attention. We asked for a size small and a kiddie size ice cream. The kiddie size was filled barely reaching half way of the cup. We asked for the cup to at least be filled. It’s already a small cup to begin with. We asked because every other location we’ve been to tops it off as it should be. The young girl was very rude and said “that’s how the kiddie size is” i said ok I understand it is a kid size cup but can you at least fill the cup. She barely put any ice cream In it. So I asked to buy a bigger size and left the other one in the counter. She violently exited her counter and threw the ice cream to garbage in the street. Her and her hooligan friends kept laughing. To be truthful, they seemed to be a bit racist. Will never buy there again. This establishment is tainted with racism and aggression towards anyone that is not white and blonde. It was a real waste of my money. Shamefully I would say because my wife and I have always loved taking time to buy ice cream from this company but I am starting to see a pattern of bad behavior and racism in some of the locations. Keep in mind these establishments are attended by young, inexperienced girls. sadly, there’s no manager or serious people to...
