Came here on a weekday and decided to eat in. The space is great; unfussy, clean and plenty of room. It seems like a pretty lean operation with only one person working there at the time. I ordered the Uncle John, and got a bag of chips and a coke. The sandwich is pricey but it is HUGE. It’s honestly 2 servings and they absolutely pack it with meat. I actually thought there was too much meat in it. I wasn’t a fan of the hero bread; it was way too tough. Felt like I was fighting my sandwich every time I took a bite. I would return, but will try a different bread. This neighborhood needs more sandwich shops so I’m glad it’s here!

This place may seem like a random hole in the wall type of a place but I can assure you that you will have a very tasty sandwich when you go inside here. I was very pleased with my order. My sandwich was ready in just a few minutes, the ingredients were very fresh And the sandwich itself was very well put together and kept me satiated for the entire day. I would say the prices are a little on the higher side but not uncommon for this neighborhood. Definitely worth a stop in next time you’re around.

I just had to share how amazing the meatball sandwich was the first time I tried it - it was incredible! And today, I decided to try the Ciro sandwich, and wow, it's simply delicious. The bread is so fresh, and the overall experience is just delightful. Plus, the price is reasonable for a sandwich in Brooklyn. Happy eating!

TLDR: Food is good, staff is very rude.

I've eaten here twice and tried about 3-4 other times without success. The two sandwiches I had were delicious but all the times I've gone in the staff has been very rude, most of the time not even acknowledging that you're there.

They advertise daily specials but every time I try to order them they say "no only on weekends", multiple times they've been out of a lot of their meats for their sandwiches which makes me wonder why they are open.

They seem to be very understaffed only ever having a single employee working when they really need to have a cashier with some people skills who is managing the customers. My most recent visit was met with me waiting at the counter for 5-10 minutes while the employee did not say a single word. A food delivery person came to pick up an order and also could not get the worker to say a single word back to them.

I'd say prepare for slow service, if any, and definitely not with any type of...

I honestly never write reviews but I was severely disappointed with this place. It was the most ridiculously overpriced mediocre Italian food I’ve ever had in my life. It was nothing more than some chewy pieces of bread with barely any meat or flavor. You would be so much better off going to a specialty Italian store like Landi’s or Coluccio in South Brooklyn and get authentic high quality bread and cured meats, and you’d be able to make a weeks worth of sandwiches with the money that you’d spend on two pathetic sandwiches here. It tastes like gentrified Italian food and just looks like a carefully curated impression of what a real Italian restaurant should be. Don’t waste your...
