I'm very disappointed today in how an Uber Eats delivery was handled by cashier/ front desk employee Gram. I called because I did not receive my chicken panini sandwich and so I called to inquire and let them know I'd be reordering, but to make up for the mistake I'd really appreciate an orange juice instead of the fry as I had already received an order of fries with no sandwich and additional order because they are just so good. In fact the last time I went there I told the cook in the open kitchen how much I liked their fries and he let me have a few extra fresh. Real class. Before I could even ask about the orange juice Gram explained that he put the chicken panini in there. I believed Gram as an Uber eats driver could have potentially taken the sandwich... It would have made sense in retrospect to ask Gram where he put it because if he said the top I could have easily deducted it was taken, however I just chose to believe him and not question him, but I did then ask for him to provide the Oj on my next order instead of the fries and this is when good old Gram really hammered it down that because this was not their mistake they could not provide an Oj. I said I understood and I'm in the industry as well, but it'd really mean a lot because regardless of whether it was the stores fault or Uber, which I still don't know for sure considering my chicken tenders that I also ordered did not come with the honey mustard as advertised, if he could understand I had several orders of fries there an Oj would really cheer me up and make me feel even better about having to re-order due to an Uber or store error. Instead it was hammered down once again this time even more so and during all this I'm having a very hard time getting a word in. I said I understood and hung up. I left a message on the Uber order after the call and this is what I got. My panini, with the fries crossed off, and no Juice. Pretty spiteful of you Gram. I'm not sure where all that spite came from, but it doesn't belong in the service industry. Wouldn't even provide the fries or the OJ all because I called to inquire about a missed item and explain I'd be re-ordering it. I was met with utmost unprofessionalism and am disappointed because when I come in there I always speak highly of the place and receive positivity...
Read more1st review: I enjoyed the veggie burger and mixed greens. Didn't require any ketchup or additional dressing. I will be back.
2nd review: A difference two months will make. I've eaten here 4 out of the 7 days a week. The breakfast dishes tend to be a little flavorless, but the majority of the entrees are delish. The only thing worse than a flavorless breakfast sandwich is an arrogant cook. This location has pleasant cashier staff, but the cooks have very poor attitudes.
Today (9.9.18) I ordered avocado on a toasted bagel with an egg white. Specifically asked for the avocado not to be sliced, but to be put on as a paste (turning sliced avocado into a paste isn't rocket science.)The cook opted to ignore the specific request and gave it to me the way he wanted me to eat it. Before I left I checked the sandwich and it was not as requested. The staff basically pleaded and the cook still opted not to fix it. The cashier attempted to fix it, but this wasn't until I requested a refund. Felt like I was in the frkn twilight zone. One of the cooks decided to argue with the cashier in front of me, not cool. To note, this isn't the first time I've added avocado to an order and was extremely disappointed. My favorite insalata integrale and a breakfast sandwich.
Today's experience changed my five stars to one star. As long as those two cooks remain on the grill, I will not be returning nor will I have anything nice to say about...
Read moreThe coffee here is delicious. We live nearby and always feel there is no good coffee place to go, but we are glad that we finally found this gem this morning. It is Sunday almost 11:30, we were planning to try a cafe next to them and mistakenly walked into this new place while they were still preparing for opening up, so it seemed all we could order was coffee and some cookies on the counter. We ordered 2 regular coffee and walked out, wondering why they open so late as a cafe. As soon as we had the first sip, we both said "wow, this is actually very good." We didn't even remember the name of the business until I was looking for it on Google map now thinking I need to support a neighborhood business who offers good coffee. Reading other reviews, now I know they are not really a cafe. We will definitely go back to try their chicken, of course the accidently discovered...
