The person that picked up the phone and handled my order was very rude, unprofessional, and didn't even speak proper English in a communicative way. I've ordered from donut shoppe in the past and was always given the correct order. I ordered two sandwiches with custom options in the notes that were totally ignored. When I asked the person on the phone did they ignore the notes the person said yes because I verified that one of the sandwiches had mayonnaise on it when I specifically put no mayonnaise. My wife's sandwich was not what she ordered and none of the custom options were added. This is not our previous experience with the donut shoppe. The person that answered the phone for this order was very rude, crass, disrespectful, and very dismissive. He was not accommodating at all and refused to redeliver the order. He actually told me to come in the next day to get the sandwiches. He also told me he did not care about what I was telling him because he just wants to know what exactly were in the sandwiches as is and I told him the order wasn't as is because the app has the customizing fields. When I told him I was a GrubHub customer he shrugged it off and he didn't care. I ordered a manwich and for some weird reason this vendor adds mayonnaise to a manwich which is gross and non-traditional. Manwiches are red sauce based with ground beef and never is mayonnaise a part of this recipe. The whole bun was lathered and mayonnaise which made the sandwich gross in previous encounters and that's why I started to put the notes in to tell them no mayonnaise and I was accommodated previously before this disastrous order. We try to support local food vendors but the person who handled this order was very unprofessional rude, disrespectful and has no training and no business handling the phones or handling orders. Read moreI HAVE BEEN GIVING THIS RESTERAUNT THOUSANDS & THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS ORDERING 3 MEALS A DAY. THE FOOD WAS GOOD BUT I SEE A HUGE DECLINE IN THE QUALITY.
EXAMPLE #1) THE FRESHLY MADE APPLE TURNOVERS WERE THE BEST AROUND, ALLOT OF APPLES INSIDE, BUT TONIGHT, I GOT A FLATTENED OUT EMPTY TURNOVER WITH A VERY GREASY BOTTOM. LOOKED & TASTED STALE.
EXAMPLE #2) FOR 2 YEARS I HAVE BEEN HAVING ALMOST EVERY CUP OF HOT COFFEE LEAK BADLY INTO THE SAME BAG WITH MY FOOD THAT GOT RUINED MANY TIMES. (UBER EATS IGNORES THIS ISSUE)
I RECOMMENDED TO THE OWNER TO PLEASE USE "SARAN WRAP" TO SEAL THE COFFEE LIKE EVERY OTHER GOOD COFFEE SHOP DOES IN BROOKLYN BUT SHAIKHS PLACE IGNORES GOOD IDEAS, MAYBE BECAUSE THEY DONT LIKE TO BE WRONG, BUT TOO BAD! GET IT TOGETHER! HOW CAN ANYONE HAND OFF A HOT CUP OF COFFE FOR DELIVERY & NOT SEAL IT? SUCH IGNORANCE LIKE A MULE!

I ASKED TO PUT THE COFFEE IN A SEPERATE BAG, IT MAKES SENSE RIGHT?, BUT THE DRINK STILL LEAKS, THEY STILL REFUSE TO WRAP THE CUP WITH PLASTIC SARAN WRAP SO HERE I AM SIPPING THE SODA OUT OF THE BAG WITH A STRAW. THE DAYTIME LADY IN THIS STORE HAS A VERY NASTY ATTITUDE & IGNORES RESPONSIBILITY. WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO MAKE THEM UNDERSTAND THAT SOMETHING THEY ARE DOING IS NOT RIGHT ?

That same employee was ridiculously rude and disrespectful to me as well while I was with my son. I usually order on grubhub so I decided to go in person yesterday to check it out in person with my son, I asked for a box of donuts and the employee went on to ask how much donuts so I say a dozen where he responds look at the sign then come back to order (because a dozen there is 13). I say ok give me 13 and the guy rushes me then while I'm telling him the flavors I want I ask him how much do I have left where he responds "it's simple math did you not go to school that's the problem with this generation" the conversation was held in Spanish so I respond im actually a graduate and if you could show some respect for customers because I haven't disrespected you and I'm with my son. Instead of apologizing he goes on with the disrespect telling me 4,2,2 and 2 how much is that,my kid starts saying other flavors then again he proceeds to yell saying come on what happen to the math how much is that if a dozen is 13 how much is it now?
