First visit:

Great new café in the neighborhood! The layout drew me in and from the moment I walked in, I loved the ambiance. Calvin and Rose were amazing and made me feel right at home. Great café to unwind with a book, meet with friends, or do work.

Now, for the moment of truth: the oat milk latte was made exactly how I expected it—stellar! On my next visit I’m coming back with room to try the mochi donuts. :)

Update:

I'm already way past my 5th visit and I must say, it's easy to create a great experience once. It's quite hard, in my opinion, to create a great experience consistently every time. Calvin, Rose, Tommy, and Malcolm are knocking it out of the park!

The dark chocolate mochi donut is definitely worth trying out. Also, try Malcolm's iced oat milk flat white on a hot day for some self-care. And Tommy's hot oat milk flat...

Let me just say this….having lived in Japan and even being a Matcha purist, I know what authentic, high-quality matcha should taste like. Sieve not only meets that gold standard but goes beyond it with creativity. They’ve introduced innovative flavors: banana cream, strawberry matcha, coconut, and more, that feel natural and organic rather than overly sweet. The matcha itself stays perfectly balanced, letting the flavors complement rather than overpower.

The staff were warm and welcoming, and service was quick. It’s rare to find a spot that feels both true to the roots of Japanese matcha while also pushing the boundaries in a way that works. I’m genuinely thrilled to have a best-in-class matcha cafe right here in Queens. I’ll definitely be back frequently. Thank you for bringing a real taste of Japan to the neighborhood -...

before i start off, i want to say that i am a BANANA girl. i love banana flavored anything, so when i saw they had banana matcha i knew i had to give it a try. the first time i got it, it wasn't that great, it tasted like mashed banana only which does not work very well on its own without any added ingredients because matcha will overpower it.... i found a foreign object in that same drink. i figured because it was their first week being open that they were still figuring some things out and tried again recently. the second time was probably worse, the banana foam had a sour flavor to it like greek yogurt but still don't taste much of the banana. i do believe their matcha alone is very good and with simple syrup, but unfortunately the banana foam is like one of the worst...

Randomly found this in the area after a morning @ Juniper park and it turned out to be a great find! I’ve been making it a weekend tradition to try a new matcha place every Sunday and I wished I lived in the area just to go back everyday😭 service was fast and accommodating & I was giving good recommendations by the cashier. The matcha was the perfect amount of a foamy, thick, creamy consistency during my first try with coconut water. Very refreshing I must say and with a touch of simple syrup it was a game changer! I noticed depending on the flavors they add different grades of matcha which is a great attention to detail! Their matcha loaf was also soooo good! Thank you for a great addition to my Sunday💚 #certifiedmatchalover
