i have had SO many issues with this starbucks that now i prefer to go all the way to flatbush junction to get my starbucks.
however in particular THIS GUY has given me my last straw. and i will tell you why.
jacob, with the blue hair, flirted with my boyfriend in front of my face and criticized my order trying to force his order onto me and my boyfriend. i get a iced matcha latte with caramel drizzle oat milk and brown sugar syrup. i have autism so i like starbucks because i can customize my drink however i want with little hassle. anyway, jacob starts complimenting my boyfriends nails, hair, tattoos, arms, while im right next to him mind you. thinking he's being nice my boyfriend thanks him and proceeds with an order. my boyfriend likes cold brew and that's what he ordered for himself, and he makes sure to always say that i like my matcha shaken in the shaker because i do not like it stirred. jacob says "you sure you want that? let me make you my version of the matcha and see if you like it" my boyfriend insists that no he does not want that. jacob then says "i promise it's nice and sweet it's really good you'll like it" my boyfriend says again that i like my matcha a particular way because i have autism. he says "well how about you? i can make hers her way and make you a matcha latte my way that way you can try mine" my boyfriend had to tell him sternly "no. i want a pistachio cold brew [how he likes it] and a matcha latte with oat milk, 6 pumps of brown sugar, caramel drizzle, light ice, made in the shaker." jacob says to him "well you can tell your girlfriend that we don't shake the milk or coffee drinks anymore because of dairy allergies" this is when i step in and i say "i have never heard of that". my friend works at starbucks and whenever i go to her starbucks and others they always shake it in the shaker because that is standard procedure. my boyfriend insists "well she would like it in the shaker because she has autism and she wants it that way" jacob then finalized the order and says "tell that to the person at bar and if they want to shake it they will but that's not how the drink is made. how are you paying" my boyfriend pays and tells the person at bar who WITH NO PROBLEM shakes my drink just as i asked. i overheard jacob complaining to other workers that i was being a karen and its "too early to deal with this [the drink request and argument]"
so that was it. the person at bar, brian, made my drink exactly how i liked, shaken, and made me feel better and less criticized by simply not complaining or enforcing this new rule. by the way, brian is an amazing partner. he directly shows starbucks values and is a kind engaging barista. every time i come to this starbucks and i see brian at the register i am relieved that there won't be a problem with my order or i wont be given an attitude. i personally have had so much good experiences with brian i hope to see him promoted one day.
i am typing this on google so other customers can know what and who is making their beverage, and i attached a picture so everyone sees him and knows if this guy is at the register TURN AROUND and go to dunkin' or something.
if anyone else has an issue with this store i request you don't post it on google or yelp because the manager doesn't care and doesn't change anything and instead contact the official starbucks contact center at 206-318-7100. that way things can actually be done about our complaints instead of brushed off and being...

After a long day at the doctor, I went to the mall with my mom. When I saw the Starbucks, I got excited because I had been wanting her to try the pumpkin cream chai.
When we walked in, there were only two people ahead of me in line, but no one acknowledged us. We stood there waiting for about five minutes before anyone came to take our orders. I understand they also had drive-thru orders, but there were at least two people working that and one barista behind the counter.
Eventually, another barista came over to take orders. She seemed frustrated and had an attitude, but I tried not to take it personally, figuring she was just overwhelmed. When it was my turn, I asked if they had any cheese danishes. She bent down to check, so I paused to make sure she heard me. When she came back up, she waved her hand at me and said in a very rude tone, “you can keep going,” as if to rush me. I felt that was uncalled for because I was only making sure she could hear my order without raising my voice.
I then asked for two pumpkin cream lattes, thinking that was the pumpkin cream chai I wanted. When the drinks came out, I realized they were pumpkin spice lattes instead. I was upset for three reasons: one, it wasn’t the drink I had been talking about for weeks; two, I had really wanted my mom to try it; and three, I had already waited so long that I didn’t want to wait again.
When I told them this wasn’t what I wanted, the barista who took my order walked past and told the other worker, “she said pumpkin cream latte.” I explained that I meant the pumpkin cream chai, but she snapped back that they didn’t have that drink and could only add pumpkin cream to something else. She did offer to remake it, but by then her tone and attitude made me so uncomfortable that I decided I won’t be returning to that Starbucks again. The cheese danish was cold, it was just terrible.
Being a Starbucks gold member and experiencing many Starbucks across the states it’s one of my favorites to get my treats. This really was the worst experience I’ve had at...
Read moreI was excited when the neighborhood finally got a Starbucks, but honestly? The customer service here leaves a lot to be desired. Try placing a mobile order for drive-thru pickup and watch the app default to “in-store”—then watch the employees act like you just committed a felony. You’ll catch a mouthful from several of them. Like dude, what? Don’t you literally just have to turn around to grab it from the pickup counter directly behind where you’re standing?? think the last time I was reprimanded like that was in grade school.
Another time, I got in trouble for “ordering ahead too early” before heading into the drive-thru line. My bad? Next time I’ll make sure to park in one of the abundant spots your store offers around the perimeter (sarcasm). Also, there was no one ahead of me and only one car behind.. not peak hours by any means. Low key I’m not sure if this is Starbucks or a security checkpoint to enter the Pentagon lol
The quality is also hit or miss. I’ve been handed drinks with the lid half on (spilled everywhere—perfect before work), and way too many that were just straight-up poorly made. Clumpy, unblended, watery… you name it.
Overall, this place could really use some work in terms of how they treat customers. One thing I will say, though—they usually have most things in stock, which is a major plus since that’s a common issue at a lot of other Starbucks locations...
