This venue is absolutely phenomenal!

My family and I had been planning a biking tour in the Poconos, but there was one small hurdle—my cousin wasn’t sure if he even remembered how to ride a bike! So, before committing to the event, I decided to look into local bike rentals to see if we could test things out first.

That’s when I came across Wheel Fun Rentals on Google. I gave them a call and was connected with Marcus, who was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He walked me through everything—from the types of bikes available to the pricing—and answered all my questions with ease.

Shortly after, I arrived at the location and was pleasantly surprised when Marcus recognized my call. His customer service was top-notch from the moment I stepped in. What truly stood out was his welcoming attitude and warm demeanor, which made the entire experience even better.

When I mentioned that my cousin hadn’t ridden a bike in over 30 years, Marcus not only shared his own personal journey of getting back into biking but also offered some great tips. Thanks to his encouragement and guidance, my cousin was confidently pedaling again within just five minutes!

Marcus also took the time to explain several routes we could take, and his recommendations were both helpful and thoughtful. He was all smiles and made sure we had a great time. After our hour-long ride, he even followed up with us to check in and see how it went.

We also noticed they offer family-style bikes at this location—which looked like so much fun! We’re already planning to come back and try those out next time.

All in all, this was an exceptional experience, and Marcus truly went above and beyond....

I received a gift card with the express intent of renting a kayak at this site, as I'm interested in the bird preserve. We live in western queens and it's a one hour, 50 minute commute there.

Last time we tried to use it, we called ahead to ensure they were renting kayaks. They assured us that they were (it seems our call went to a call center). We arrived and no kayaks. That was four hours wasted.

Tried calling again to ensure that there was kayaking available. We were assured their was, but that there are only TWO, and that it was first come, first served. I asked if there was any way to make a reservation, but no. We were supposed to try again, with a high probability of wasting four more hours of my life.

We were told to go to flushing meadow if we wanted to kayak. That's what we did last time we were lied to. It was silly and the pond is obviously quite small and easily exhausted. My interest was this location because it is adjacent to Jamaica Bay.

I'm really disappointed, as there's no way I want to waste another four hours. I wish u could get my money back from this terrible company and use it toward a...

Let me just say that I hate giving negative reviews and I have been renting bikes at Marine Park for years and never had any issues but today I had a very unpleasant experience with the guy who runs a place. The issue at hand: MASK. I came to rent a bike and was told I had to wear a mask to rent a bike. Well, here’s the scenario. First, I’m fully vaccinated and carry a vaccination card which I offered to show. Place that rents out bikes is literally outside. It has a plastic partition to separate staff and the customers. What’s more, there wasn’t a person near or around me. I have to admit that I was offered to buy a mask which I refused to because again, Im fully vaccinated, I was outside, the staff had masks on and there were nobody else around. So what’s the deal here… the issue i have is with the overall customer service which is not existent. The guy was totally unprofessional and rude. I even tried to calm this dude down but he basically told me to leave which, I did. I guess I could’ve just paid $2 for the damn mask...
