UPDATE - 8/30/25 My wife and I went there at 11:30 today (Saturday) – The place was slightly empty, so we sat right away. We waited for more than 15 minutes, still, no service, no coffee, no waitress, nothing. But I did see 6 people standing around, laughing and playing on their phone in the front cashier area, all the time I was there. The sad part is, we frequent this IHOP almost every weekend, and the food and service is usually very good. THERE’S NO EXCUSE FOR THIS – IT’S DISRESPECTFUL. I got dirty looks from the same waitresses that were standing there laughing while we walked out. I thought this was a good IHOP when we first started going there, but I was wrong. I don’t think I’ll be going back there very soon. I am an online food critic who has thousands of people reding my reviews daily. I hardly ever bad mouth a place, unless they deserve it. I felt very disrespected in a place that I frequent and enjoy.
~ Review from 10 months ago BEST PANCAKES EVER!!! I'm a big fan of IHOP and have been to every one in Brooklyn. They all have good pancakes, but this place, ahhh… THEY HAVE AMAZING PANCAKES!!! The place is always clean and festive, ballons, decorations, etc. They have a very informative, nice staff and, well… It’s very hospitable, welcoming. You want to just sit down, relax, forget about life and just enjoy your meal here. I had the Sirloin Steak Tips & Eggs here a few weeks ago, it was delicious! I could have had 3 servings! But this post is about pancakes… Let’s get to it. I LOVE THESE PANCAKES!!! I don’t know what they do to these pancakes here, but they are a little better than the rest! Fresh, moist, fluffy, but not too fluffy, just right (I hate that airy feeling when you bite into a pancake to taste it because it’s too fluffy). Lightly sweet, savory, mouthwatering… That “Oh my goodness” taste, that makes you happy! Plain, with Old Fashioned syrup or topped with fruit, they are amazing! I’m in amazing shape, and body build, eating unprocessed food 6 days a week. I really look forward to getting a stack of pancakes, hash browns and breakfast sausages on the weekends, and this… This is my...

Our verdict: stick with the pancakes.
We ate here a few times during different times of the day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), but found that the only quality food worth visiting for is the pancakes. Dinner, specifically, feels and tastes like a pre-packaged, unseasoned, warmed up version of what it could be. It feels like "fake food" often found in low-to-mid quality chain restaurants.
As for service, it really depends on the day and time. We've had great servers who cleared our dishes and were very attentive to our needs, and other times our table remained cluttered and we were ignored. Keep a close eye on your check, kids eat free during dinner hours, but sometimes the servers forget to apply the discount.
The overall look and feel of the restaurant is good. Clean dining area, clean bathrooms, no discernable noise coming from the kitchen. It is an ideal place for a restaurant. There is even a parking lot in the back of the building, which is great because parking is difficult in the area. I just wish they were more consistent with their quality of food and service. Perhaps they will strike a balance the longer they remain open.
3/5 stars overall - with plenty of room for improvement. Go for the pancakes, though, they're...
Read moreHi there I’m very sorry to say this but this is the worst place I have worked in all my times of working I enjoyed it at first but I never thought that me a 17 year old minor would be getting cursed out at for a honest mistake and on top of that getting fired in my first week of working there. The Owner’s name of this establishment is victor. The owner would use a lot of profanity and often yelled a lot blaming me for something that wasn’t even my fault, Sometimes he even claimed that I was too nice. I can’t believe I was treated in such a way and because of this incident they completely took me off the schedule, so to fight for my job, I went to go ask for my hours back, asked questions of how this is fair due to me being let go and the situation escalated,it ends up going as far for the owner known as victor to try and remove me from the establishment by almost putting hands on me this is not okay people of ihop I don’t understand why you have someone like this representing for you but in all due respect I feel as ihop lost a very soulful and respectful employee. Thank you for the general manager Tatiana and lavo for being respectful yesterday evening and letting me receive my last check I thank them as for victor I hope he learns that this is not how he should treat his employees and learn how to be more...
