A friend and I chose to dine in this restaurant because it was the closest thai place to the networking event we attended. We were seated promptly as we arrived and quickly provided food and cocktail menus. We ordered pineapple margaritas, the chili wings and fries as appetizer to share, and spicy basil fried rice and a duck rice dish as entrees. The food is mediocre and not authentic Thai but we finished everything because we were hungry. When we asked for the check, we noticed that there was already a 20% gratuity added to the bill. I called our waiter to inquire why there is an automatic gratuity added for only 2 of us with no indication that this would happen in the menu so I know it wasn't a restaurant policy. His excuse was that we have dined here before and we didn't leave a tip. So they took it upon themselves to add 20%. First of all, this is our first time dining at this restaurant. Secondly even if I patronized the restaurant before and didn't tip, that gives them no right to automatically add 20%. I can only wonder if this incident is racially motivated because my friend and I are both black. The waiter removed the automatic gratuity and we paid and left. The morning after my friend called me to tell me that she has an upset stomach from the food we ate at the restaurant. I also wonder if they did something to the food before they served us. I will never return to this restaurant and urge patrons ( especially black patrons) to inspect their bill carefully if they decide to go. Also I plan to file a complaint with the Department of Consumer Affairs because this discriminatory and wrong business practice cannot...

No cap! Food Service Atmosphere 5 all around

I walked in and received a very warm welcome from Derick (server & Bartender). The drinks are my speed(more that one whiskey/bourbon cocktail) I also feel like they have a little bit of something for everyone.

I tried the Spiced Ginger Hot toddy and it's the best hot toddy I have had yet. First time having an elderflower old fashioned referring strong flavor and it cap getting better as old fashioned do with the sips.

Came here in the cold weather. So atmosphere wise I am glad they have a sort of cold air blocker with the curtains.

The fries definitely get them the flavor and sauce was a 10. Better than truffle fries. Roti paratha with vegan curry was delicious I thought it was going to be SPICY but it wasn't. It was just flavorful where I ended up dipping my fries into.

There take on the cashew chicken was also a first and I order that a lot. The base(wok) seemed different. It was more soy butter flavoring in my amateur opinion than chili based.

I came on a Monday. If that matters to anyone. (IYKYK).

Sorry I have no pictures. Bonapple...

A very cute Thai place with good vibe, and beautiful setup. Albeit, not a large restaurant, some very smart designer maximized the space inside to its best. Friendly people, they don’t skimp on the wine in your glass, big pet peeve of mine. A glass of rose is $9, unless it’s happy hour in which case it’s $7. We got the prefix happy hour for $18. At the time, it included: a spring roll, two dumplings and a chicken skewer; a free beverage; an entree and we picked the vegan green curry. It came all at once. But only one order. It missed the skewer. I waited. And waited. My partner finished his dish, by the time my food was there. The waitress recovered swiftly and offered the drinks we ordered on the house. The food, especially the green curry was excellent. People smiley and somewhat flamboyant. Bathroom was very clean. Perfect lighting. Overall, despite, the food coordination, we loved the place. They comped our second drinks, as promised. This place is a gem. They type of place you keep going back....

We came here with a large group with my cousins upon the recommendation of a local shopkeeper. The place is very cute and not huge, and the decor is fun, with colorful lanterns and a beautiful painted wall. Their service is very good. They were friendly and filled our water attentively, and it was a bit humid, so they kept the door closed and kept the AC in the space. The food was fantastic! I really loved my dish, the salmon fried rice. It had large chunks of fried salmon. The papaya salad was delicious too, not too spicy and so flavorful. The Singapore noodles were delicious, but not what I was expecting. This is an egg noodle like fettuccine with soy sauce and oyster sauce. It tasted great, and I'd probably order it again, but just FYI it isn't a curry dish with Angel hair noodles! The curry fries were yummy but I'd probably not order it again, I would prefer to keep the curry sauce separate for dipping. Overall, 5 stars!

ive been to sticky rice multiple times and have thoroughly enjoyed it. i went yesterday and had a horrible experience. first off we were not greeted and were left at our table for 30 minutes without putting in an order. it wasn’t that busy (thursday night). my girlfriend ordered fried rice and while eating it she discovered there were SHARDS OF GLASS in her meal. we showed the waiter and then 20 minutes later he brought over a new fried rice. when i received the check i assumed the fried rice would be comped due to the danger of the glass. i asked and he said “what do you mean, we gave you another one”, then i said it was pretty dangerous and he said ok i’ll give you 10% off. i received the check and there was only 10% off the fried rice ($1 and some change). i am extremely disappointed and will not be coming back.
